Viking Revolution Beard Wash & Conditioner Set - Sandalwood - 5 oz

I never thought I was going to be "that guy" who had special grooming products but here I am. Now I have special shaving supplies, and beard care stuff galore. I have been happy with the quality of Viking Revolutions products thus far and have really liked my sandalwood beard oil and pre-shave oils. I do not have a long beard (maybe 1" long) and keep it pretty tight to my face most of the time. Around October to February, my skin really dries out and my beard starts to flake and leave white all over my shirt below my chin. And no matter how hard I fight it, I cant get it under control. So I decided to give this stuff a shot and it has worked quite well! I only use about a dime-sized amount when washing and it seems to be the right amount for me. After about 1 week of daily use, my beard has nearly stopped being dry and flakey!!! I cant say with absolute certainty, but I am pretty sure my beard is a little softer and has less frizz / stray whiskers poking out in weird directions. I think the price-point is reasonable compared to other manufacturers and overall I am happy with the performance of the product. I do however have a couple frustrations with the product - 1) it smells like baby powder. Whomever said this smells like sandalwood is crazy or has never smelled sandalwood before. It is a fresh scent, but not very manly. 2) I know this is just me being a flag wielding 'Merican, but I don't like that the stuff is made in China for a lot of reasons, but primarily because I don't think their quality control is the best and I always worry about bad chemicals being mixed in. Would I recommend this product? Yes. But with the understanding that the scent is completely wrong.

I never really had beard wash and conditioner before, I used to just use regular shampoo and conditioner but after finding out it’s not good for your beard, I decided to get a specific product to wash my beard and found this. I really like these products, the shampoo smells like Dr. Pepper in my opinion which is nice and the conditioner smells like baby powder kinda which I also don’t mind. These bottles are a decent size since all you need is a little pinch so these bottles should last a while, also after one wash I already felt my beard being softer and looking nice.

I normally don't leave product reviews, but I have loved this product so much that I feel other people need to know about it too. One of the first things I look for is a product that has quality ingredients that doesn't contain sulfates that are harmful to your hair, and this fits the bill nicely. It didn't strip out all the natural oils, but still left my beard feeling fresh, clean, and so soft! The softness may be due to the conditioner since I always use it as a follow-up to the wash. But either way, these two products are a great combination and my beard loves it! But even after all those praises, I have to say my absolute favorite part of washing my beard is the fantastic scent of these products!! I typically don't like scented products in my beard because it drives me nuts to smell it all day long, but I look forward to the days that I use the Viking Revolution wash and conditioner because I get to enjoy faint little hints of the sandalwood scent throughout the day. It's not overpowering, nor is it a constant smell. It's almost like it's not even there at all. It's a little treat, just for me, that reminds me I'm treating my beard well by using these products. So whether you're a seasoned beard grower that's tried tons of products out there, or if you're just starting out and getting your feet wet, my experience tells me you can't go wrong with the Viking Revolution beard wash and conditioner in the natural sandalwood scent. It's definitely worth a try!

I notice that a lot of beard related products are expensive nowadays, and this was one of the less expensive options out there that still used good ingredients and had good reviews. Right off the bat, the scent is great. It's fresh while still masculine so no one will think their 70 year old aunt is behind them. The shampoo has a nice lather and rinses off easily in the shower. The conditioner is also good. It still wasn't a magic solution to my beard dandruff, so if you also have these issues I'd recommend looking into a beard oil or similar products. My gripe is the bottles themselves. I left the conditioner cap open which dried out the product in the opening and blocked it off completely. So I've had to untwist the cap to squeeze out product since I haven't bothered to find something to unblock it. The viscosity of both products doesn't help when you're running low and you really have to shake and squeeze to get some on your hand. You might call it nit-picking but it still annoys me.

I love this product. I had a beard that was always very itchy. I started using this and haven’t had any itching since. The fragrance is great. Doesn’t take much of the product to get a nice lather. I would recommend this product to anyone that has facial hair. Great product.

Its a good product

Très satisfait. Il en faut vraiment peu pour que ça fasse effet, donc le flacon dure longtemps. La texture est agréable, l’odeur bois de santal est subtile mais masculine, et surtout ma barbe est plus douce et facile à coiffer. Le combo huile d’argan et jojoba fait bien le job. Excellent rapport qualité/prix, je recommande sans hésiter !
