This was my first time using this product, so I may update my review at a later date (hopefully it’s the same!), but I am soooo pleased with this product! I went to Curls One On One in Beverly Hills to get my hair highlighted and Donatella used these products in my hair and spoke highly of them so I thought I’d give them a try! I wasn’t completely sold with anything I was currently using and trusted her opinion and boy was she right! I used the products with A LOT of water which is one of her recommendations when applying products. (More water than product) while making sure to massage the product into my hair until soft in small sections and my hair loves it. The massaging helps my hair to soak in the moisture and the product and then I applied my tried and true Xtreme wet line gel and then diffused just until it was about 70% dry and let it air dry the rest. (Photos were taken when hair was still air drying) But overall I’m happy! The smell was pleasant and not too overpowering which I was worried about when I first smelled the conditioner and it’s really all about how you apply the product! It will just “sit” on your hair like some people say if you don’t apply it correctly with enough water and patience. I will try to update again in a few months if I’m still loving it or if something else happened, but so far so good! Thanks Carlos!!

Okay I’m obsessed. This conditioner is everything. It smells so good and it is SO hydrating...and the slip!!! Omg just a few passes through my hair and the tangles glided through. I love that this line is simple and the creator encourages that you only need his 3 products so I took his advice and left this conditioner in my hair as my leave in and holy definition and hydration! My hair feels so moisturized but not weighed down in the slightest. I have dry, coily, colored and heat damaged hair so it takes a lot to tame it...but I was so impressed. Everyone has been complimenting this wash and go and asking what I did different...just used these products!! They are pricey and I do think with this size of the bottles I will fly through them so I’ll have to invest in the big ones but it’s worth it because it gave me amazing results.

so within my first year of my journey I've tried Shea Moisture, CURLS, Jessicurl, Not-Your-Mothers, Cantu, As I Am, Giovanni, and I've been using Devacurl OneCondition for 5 months or so with consistently good results. After trying this conditioner as a recommendation from Evan Jospeh's salon, I will not go back to any of the previously mentioned conditioners.This product emulsifys SO WELL, a little goes a long way. The scent is not my favorite, but WOW, the light weight, intense moisture is unreal. I like volume in my hair, but it seems that moisture & volume are not always friends. This conditioner proves me wrong, keeping my curls hydrated but not weighing them down! I love how it makes me hair feel, I love that I have used it three times and have so much left, and I love that it is under $20 for the most quality conditioner I've used. If your are in the market for a new leave in TRY THIS STUFF.

I’m on my back to healthy curls journey after a year of straightening with some curl days in between but not much. I am extremely pleased with this product. Starting my journey my curls were more 2c with a tiny hint of 3a. I know they can be more 3a with some 3b when it’s back to healthy 100. This product helped me see even more of the 3a curls pop through compared to my mainly 2c. The first picture is 90% dry the first day with just the leave in conditioner. The second picture *the full body* I used the conditioner and the NYC curl gel. It was a full day of moving *im a dancer so I do get a lot of movement* and I was still really happy with how much curls look and what type of volume I was getting. It’s been a week and I’m definitely going to keep using the conditioner. I actually do like the smell. Not in love with it but I like it and I don’t smell it throughout the day anyways.

Somehow the pump on both the cleanser and the conditioner are broken. I didn’t lose any product but it comes out strangely. I like how my hair and scalp feel though. I have smaller flakes just with the first wash. I didn’t use anything more than the cleanser and the conditioner and my hair is soft, shiny and curls are still popping.

I’ve been using this product for about 5 years now and by far the best conditioner I’ve used. I occasionally buy another brand and quickly return because nothing compares. The only thing I recommend is to buy a small bottle and try it. Everyone’s hair is different and it depends on what feels right for you.I have “4c” Afro hair.

I really hate to give this only 3 stars because I LOVE the conditioner itself. However the pump is terrible. Whenever the bottle gets about 2/3s empty, the pump is very difficult to use (hardly works at all, and I'm standing there in my shower fighting with the bottle to get the conditioner out of it). I've been patiently giving it a chance to see if maybe I got a defective bottle, but that's unfortunately not the case. The same thing has happened with every bottle I've purchased. I have been a faithful client since the products debuted so it's really disappointing that the packaging brings down my overall opinion of the product. I hope Carlos gets the packaging situation squared away soon because this conditioner is WONDERFUL on my curls, and were it not for the pump, it would certainly get 5 stars from me.

My daughter loves this product. I got her the whole set of cleanser, conditioner and gel. Keeps her long curly hair looking shiny and healthy.
