They are vegan from lichen and the best dose for Elderly people living in the northern hemisphere according to nutritionfacts.org. They are the best option I could find and I’ve used them for many years.

These are nice and small and easy to swallow. There is no taste and they do the job- I was deficient in vit D and now I’m not after taking these.

It’s difficult to review this item as I have no idea on the efficacy. I take one tablet a day as I've been advised that most people in the northern hemisphere don’t get enough sunlight and so our vitamin D levels can be too low. I also have rheumatoid arthritis and my rheumy also advised it. My husband takes a chewy tablet which I disliked as it was too sweet and sickly so I like these as I just swallow them. As I’m vegetarian/almost vegan, it is important for me to know that these are vegan. The order arrived promptly. There’s no awful taste or smell! I like the ethos of this company and am happy to continue ordering their products (I’m also taking their vegan omega 3 capsules).

Great product the only criticism I have is they could use less plastic by making the bottle smaller as it really doesn't need to be that size for 90 very small tablets over though would recommend buying

Well, they certainly worked! I was diagnosed with being Vitamin D deficient a year ago (my blood tests showed my level was 35) and advised by the consultant to take a high dose. I had blood tests last week and was told a GP was concerned about my Vitamin D level. I assumed I must still be low but the GP told me my blood tests now show a level of 133. I have now slowed down! :)

Being a regular purchaser of Omvits Omega 3, I was excited when they announced they were producing a Vitamin D supplement, as I am very impressed with the Omegas the ethos of the company itself. I am not vegan but a vegetarian, but I prefer as much as possible that my supplements are plant-based. I've only been using these Vitamin D's for a few days so cannot comment on long term benefits, however, they are easy to swallow and twice the potency of my current tablets for a similar price.

Living in Ireland we don’t get a lot of sun even in the summer.. also working in an office all day doesn’t help. It’s great to now have access to good quality D3 which is also fully vegan.. Studies have shown that people living in conditions like myself can see up to a 24% increase in testosterone when taking 4000ui of vitamin D3 a day for a year.. a great boost when in your mid 30’s

I was recommended to take vitamin D as there's hardly any sun where I live.
