robust, functional, easy to use.
I was coming to the end of my supply of papers for my aeropress and decided to buy a re-useable filter. The Cafe Concerto filter was my choice, it had good independent reviews so i decided to give it a go. A good decision. It was a good price, works really well and is easy to use and clean. Solid recommendation

Works grand, can't complain
It works fine. I use quite a fine grind and there's a bit of dust in the bottom of the cup but comparing between paper and this metal that would be the main difference. Other than that you will need to leave the aeropess to cool down before trying to remove the filter. You can pull the inner tube back slightly and the coffee will stop draining so you can let it brew for a while. There is less resistance to the filter than with the paper so you may need to leave it to sit for a wee while longer before pressing. All in all it still makes a nice coffee. It's a bit annoying that I've to burn the fingers off myself when emptying the grounds but that's just because I'm impatient.

Nice
I am no coffee connoisseur, but this does take away the need for carrying or forgetting the paper filters. No weird tastes, coffees nice and smooth.

Excellent Coffee Filter
I hesitated to buy a re-usable filter, as a previous one had not been as good as paper filters - the holes were too large to produce the same intensity of flavour as paper filters. This product is at least as good as paper filters and arguably gives more flavour. There is a subtle difference, both are good; this has a slightly cleaner fuller taste, but its a matter of personal preference and personal taste buds. I prefer the environmental benefits of having a permanent product, and you avoid the hassle of re-ordering paper filters every few weeks! It also looks really nice - a quality product. Bit expensive, but worth it.

Fine or superfine? And some tips for a good time.
Firstly and importantly, this is excellent. It's not cheap but neither are filter papers these days and I'd like to think that I'm supporting local business although you can't be sure where they're actually being manufactured. I couldn't work out whether to go for fine, or superfine so bought a fine one to see how that went. After a bit of experimentation, if you're having the same dilemma, I'd go for fine. Why, you ask? I think this will suit the majority of Aeropress users. If you grind your coffee finely (I have a hand-turned mill on the finest setting), this will help create sufficient a barrier to build pressure. The one piece of advice that I can share is to SCREW THE FILTER BASKET ON REALLY TIGHT. That makes it a bit of an arse to get off but if you don't, you'll probably find that coffee whistles out of the tiny gap between filter and where it's seated, and not forced through the micro-holes in the filter. I originally thought the cause of this was coffee hosing through the filter, but no. I guess the paper filters offer a more forgiving seal. Once you get the hang of it, you'll find that even with the 'fine' filter, there's almost too much resistance in the plunger but persevere and you'll get a great cup of coffee. I really can't see any need for superfine.

Easy to use and clean
Has held up to use for several months, with no leakiness or clogging issues, or signs of wear. Much more economical and environmentally friendly than paper filters. Easy to use and clean.

Great Filter
Great filter. Fine is a good option. Superfine can be more difficult to push through. Really beats using paper filters. Much less (if any) sediment. Also easy to rinse and store with less space, and of course, you donโt have to repurchase.

Still great after three years
I got this almost three years ago, and have been using it pretty much every day. It still works great. The flow rate is slower than a paper filter, but once you get used to it its perfect.
