Finally settled on this robust hip pack
I was looking for a theft proof hip-pack for my medical supplies and probably my phone for travel. I compared this very expensive model to a lesser expensive model of the main competition. This has a fair amount of room in that the pockets can expand outward if needed for more cargo. The front pocket goes all the way to the bottom so it is very usable whereas others often do not and the pocket ca be tiny. The hardware is amazingly robust. The zipper pulls are really easy to handle because they are large enough. The locking mechanism of the zipper pulls is ingenious and after a few trial runs, easy to learn and open and close quickly. The belt is also strong and well made and the closure again is unique and once you get the order of the opening moves, it is much easier to open than the usual pinch latch type closure. There also is a nice padded divider in the main pocket that is perfect for a big phone and large enough that it is easy to get the phone in or out very quickly. I think they advertise it for a small tablet. While this choice is the most expensive of all the models I looked at, it clearly is extremely well made and the hardware is really high quality. I am very glad I spent the extra money - I feel I got real value and function.

Incredible safety features
If you are traveling overseas and worried about pick pockets, this thing is a vault. It does take some getting used to at first, but from a security standpoint, it’s exceptional. Great design and was enough room for my sunglasses, phone, tissues, money, passport, etc. I know that Fanny packs aren’t the most glamorous, but I was hands free and not clutching a purse. I didn’t have to think about anyone bumping into me. They would have to be a magician to succeed.

Perfect for One Camera One Lens Travel
The media could not be loaded. I have been on the hunt for some time looking for a small bag that I could carry one camera, one lens, along with my pocket stuff (phone, keys, etc). This is it. I have tried too many "camera" bags to count and they are all bulky or just felt insecure, especially now with comparing them to the Pacsafe. This one feels like it is built to last, it's not like those "hey look at me" bags. Small but strong. I love the locking zippers and the fact there are two of them. Nothing is 100% safe and if someone wants something bad enough, they will go to lengths to get it, but this bag gives me peace of mind while traveling through those pickpocket areas and that is hard to put a price on.

The Vibe 100 vs the Venturesafe X: which to get?
The descriptions of these waist packs left me guessing as to which one I should get. So I got both and am providing this information to you to help with the decision-making.Both packs share the same PacSafe security features: RFID pocket, slash-resistant materials and waist band, clever zipper locks. They are even similarly sized and hold about the same. The difference is that the Venturesafe has more compartments and a shorter waist band. The Venturesafe has two front (top) zippered main pockets, a rear top-zipped pocket, a divider in the pocket closest to the body with also a mesh zippered pocket and the RFID pocket. In the front facing pocket it has two small pockets each about 3"x3" and a key holder. It fits comfortably on my 38" waist and looks like it will expand about another 2". The Vibe 100 has two top-zippered compartments. The front pocket has only a key holder; the rear compartment has an RFID sleeve and a divider. It fits my 38" waist with about another 6" to spare. The zippers work more smoothly with the Vibe 100. Both have breathable padding that sits on your waist when worn, making these very comfortable packs to use. So there you have it. Hope this helps with your choice also. By the way, I like them both but favor the Venturesafe as it has more pockets.

Security Lock And Durability On The Go
You will pay for this product more than lower priced products of its kind BUT you get what you pay for. This is an excellent product for people on the go . This pack safe locks and not only that the straps are reinforced so they cannot be cut. The product is easy and comfortable to carry. This is a great product for around 90 dollars and I believe it will last for a long time.

Completely secure and holds all my stuff
I have a few PacSafe bags. We travel a lot, and I have a bad shoulder, so backpacks and crossbodies are out for me. This on is spacious and secure. I can fit all of my needs for a day of hiking or sightseeing in this bag - sunglasses, water, wallet, my inhaler, and more. I can even fit my packable rainj acket inside! There are other more fashionable bags by PacSafe, but this one is good for me. I wear it as a waist pack. If you are going to Europe and you want to carry a bag, get one from PacSafe. They cost more, but they last. Last year, I made the mistake of getting a anti-theft bag from another company. The bag kept coming undone and falling off of me! Not very secure. Not only that, the hardware turned color after 3 months! I'm sticking with PacSafe from now on.

The bag works well, but the shipper missed two different shipping deadlines
The expected delivery dates often factor into my ordering decisions. The bag I ordered was originally supposed to arrive Sept 5, then Sept 13. It wasn't even shipped until Sept 13 and finally arrived the 14th. I have owned at least 2 of these bags in the past, and they work well. But if you need the product by a given date, maybe use another shipper.

Safe and pretty easy to use
Took it with me to Paris. The straps are protected so it's difficult to cut them. Wore easily over my shoulder. Locking mechanism works very well and fairly quickly. The two pockets are pretty big. Only problem I had was adjusting the straps. Somebody did it for me. Recommended.
