Adorable, compact, large reservoir, good nib
I'm new to fountain pens so definitely take this with a grain of salt. However, this is my new ADHD hyperfixation, so I have been down the rabbit holes.So. The nib is perfectly nice, as nice (so far) as the TWSBI pens I have been using, results are about the same. Comfort is similar also; it's a little fatter, but I'm an artist, so I'm used to all shapes and sizes and peculiarities of drawing implements, so for me it's not really a big deal. I don't know that I have a preference one way or another, but it feels fine. It's way too short to write with if you don't screw the lid on the back, at least for anyone with adult sized hands; mine are on the small side and I definitely would not use it for longer than a second or two without the back end screwed on. Since it's dropper-filled, it holds a ton of ink. I filled it to the brim with my favorite ink and I don't expect it to run dry any time soon. Seems pretty airtight in terms of leakage, also. It feels heavy and sturdy and things screw on/off smoothly, so all of the quality checkpoints seem in order to me.I really like this pen, the compact storage size is an enormous plus, and if it holds up over a couple of weeks' use I'm going to get a whole set of them to take my favorite drawing inks to work with me and take downtime doodling to a new level.EDIT: I broke it. It rolled under my chair and I didn’t realize it and the full considerable weight of my very plus-sized body came down on it under my power recliner, and it cracked. However!! It didn’t break. Or rather, it cracked, but didn’t break, didn’t leak, nothing. I expected a puddle of ink under my chair and was honestly stunned to see nothing but a hairline fracture. I mean my FULL weight came down on it and I am very heavy. So, if you were wondering how durable it is, the answer is VERY.

Fun, unique conversation starter
This is a well-made pen and a surprisingly great writer. Perhaps with lower-priced nibs I set my expectations low, but I have been quite impressed with the nibs coming from China, and the nib on this fun pen is no exception. This design is unlike anything else in my collection, and is my first eye dropper. Because I prefer longer pens and use most of my EDCs posted, this is not a pen I will use daily, but it is in no way uncomfortable to write with. I took several pages of notes with it and it was very comfortable in hand. For those new to fountain pens, remember that the pen is just one side of the triangle; the quality of paper and ink are also very important. I filled mine with Pilot Kon-Peki and used Tamoe River paper, and the results were perfect. Even if this doesn’t become an everyday pen, it is absolutely worth the price, and is a fun way to introduce others to the hobby. It really is a great conversation piece.

Great fun pen. Very smooth
Not only is this super fun conversation piece, it is a great writer, Looks so cool Nd holds a boatload of ink. One of my favorite pens in my collection. The moonmans are above average in their writing quality, Super easy to maintain, No pistons needed. Open and fill. So small can carry anywhere.

No clip; nib is okay; otherwise great.
Beautiful AND pragmatic: what else can I ask for?The acrylic is comfortable to hold, the threading/seals are solid, and the design is well-executed. My only only complaints are the roll-factor as there is no clip or bezel to keep this from rolling onto the floor, and I don’t love the nib.I made the mistake of overlooking the roll-factor, as I understood the Moonman n1 2019 edition DOES have a bezel to protect it. As this was my mistake, I have not weighed this against the overall rating of the pen; just something to be aware of.Regarding the nib: it isn’t bad, but compared to the nib on other more affordable pens I have used, it is considerably cheaper feeling and doesn’t have quite as much give as I like. This may be a matter of wearing it in a bit or simply a matter of preference. I don’t know. In any case, I am definitely considering after-market nibs and suggest you do the same.Overall, I love the simple elegance of the design and the consequent aesthetic allure. The utility of a large ink capacity on such a compact demonstrator cannot be overstated, and the ability to swap to cartridges in a pinch is nice too. Within a smart ink pairing, this pen is a gem to look at and feels great too.*bill for scale*I’ve found other images distorted my perception; hopefully that helps. After a good bit of using the pen, it seems the cantankerous nib didn't sort itself out and has actually gotten worse. As I mentioned before, consider an aftermarket nib. Upon closer inspection, the quality of cut on this nib is not something that can really be fixed and in my view, not tolerated. Since there are still so many great qualities of this pen, my rating remains at a four, but my after market nib is in the mail. These pens take a JoWo #5.

An incredible value!
I bought this fountain pen on the recommendation of a friend who had purchased one.The Moonman Wancai Mini fountain pen is an excellent writer. The steel nib is much smoother than many more expensive "name brand" pens, puts out a steady, wet line of ink, and gives just a hint of feedback while writing that I like. The pen is very short, but the cap posts by screwing onto the end of the barrel and that creates a good length for writing. The Wancai Mini has a wide girth, so even someone with larger hands will find it comfortable to hold, and coupled with the light weight, this is a pen that can be used for extensive writing sessions. The eyedropper fill means that there is no mechanism to fiddle with; one simply unscrews the grip section with the nib from the barrel, and then use the eyedropper to fill the barrel directly with ink. The 0-ring in the threads provides a secure seal: this pen has *never* leaked despite after being in my pocket all day with much walking around. All in all, this is one of my favorite pens: well balanced, the fit to my hand is perfect, the ink supply is ample (several days of extensive writing), and an excellent writer. Easily the best mini-pen I've ever purchased, and now I have two!
