The OEM plug on a particular gen GSXR bike is crap and tends to burn up and short, so the solution was to find something that allowed the 5 high-current lines between the stator/rectifier/batter to be durably mated when together and easily separated when the bike's being taken apart. This works perfectly. The contacts are solid and the connection is tight and rugged. The threading to mate the plug is a perfect pitch and confidently seals the connection for actual trailer/panel use. It proved a permanent solution to replace the OEM 5-spade box connector. Easy to solder and assemble. Zero complaints!
