what is the max weight for this cord?

The cord is 2mm thick and quite strong, but isn't rated for strength. Our zipper hook will hold 33 lbs on this cord, so it will at least hold 33 lbs.

Will the loop fit over a 1" round pipe used in the soft wall system. If Tiff would show pictures how she uses it at art shows that would be helpful.

The loop is not quite big enough to fit a one inch pipe. It is very close. It could be there is variance between batches. Maybe you would find some that fit.

How large is the end loop?

without getting up and going to measure, my best guess is it is about one inch. The loop is of a sufficient sized to easily fit over the rail hooks.

Can the loop in the chord be opened and closed again?

No. They are not intended to be opened. The loop is intended to have the hook on the object being "hung."
