Akord Premium 5 m Digital Coaxial Audio Lead Phono Cable with SPDIF Gold RCA Connector for Surround Sound/Dolby/DTS

Excellent quality product that works well. Confused a little at first trying to fit it as was too right to fit, but then realised it required loosening first! Was a little tricky as it's tiny and finicky, but wasn't too much of a hassle. (It's probably worth making an extra note that it does state this on the product page, which I missed at first: "Please note that this is a premium cable with locking RCA connectors at each end. To fit you have to slightly unscrew the ends of the RCA connectors, fit the cable and re-screw to lock in place for a precision fit to help eliminate interference." )

I use this interconnect to replace the cheap standard coaxil lead which I was using to connect my Sony Blu Ray player to my Pioneer surround sound receiver. It seems to be a distinct improvement as I no longer get sound drop outs. It is well made and as it has locking phono plugs makes a very secure connection. Remember to read the instructions - you have to unscreww the plug a bit before fitting it then screwit up tightly.and remember to unscrew it before disconnecting.

As pointed out by a previous reviewer these cables look the part and I'm sure they do a great job, just do not pull on the cable, not even a little bit. There is a grub screw that is supposed to hold the cable in place but it doesn't, so the only thing keeping the plug on the cable is the tiny central core copper wire soldered to the plug. Easily broken, as I found! Will be ordering another by a different manufacturer which is easier than going down the shed and getting my soldering kit out.

Amazing product. I did a mistake thinking they come in pairs. The fast delivery meant I didn't have to wait long to connect my speakers. I use it to connect an external sound card to my KRK speakers and it sounds good. I can only compare it to some cheap rca cable that picked radio interference. This one is quiet.

The cable per se is just a cable for certain purposes. However, Akord can offer the cable in a variety of lengths which is great. Why use a longer cable than needed. I also quite liked the contact, which allows for the contacts to be tightened together. It prevents the connectors to come loose. Great cable. I would invest in other cables from accord in the future.

When I opened the pack one of the connector ends fell off,managed to squeeze it back on.Other than that an ok product for the money.

I am very happy to give this product 5 stars as it is of Premium quality came inside 24 hours and on connection to my BOSE SOLO worked superbly whew as my TV did not support Optical ports only SPDIF. Very happy to buy from this seller again.

Relación calidad/precio aceptable. El cableado parece ser de calidad y el cromado también. La conexión queda bastante rígida y el funcionamiento es correcto.

Envoi rapide, qualité au rendez-vous, le système de blocage est très pratique lorsque les éléments ne sont pas très accessibles et que l'on ne veut pas passer son temps à rebrancher les câbles.

Ben costruito ha i due connettori interamente in metallo e di ottima fattura. Ben eseguite le saldature e il crimpaggio del cavo. Il cavo ha un discreto diametro e la guaina trasparente (flessibile) lascia vedere la calza in rame intrecciato. Vi è scritto sulla confezione ( una semplice busta in plastica) in maniera stringata che,prima di connettere le spine rca, vanno svitati i corpi in metallo cromato. Si infilano i connettori e poi si stingono nuovamente le ghiere cromate. Sarà ma io comunque sono riuscito nelle connessioni anche senza fare questo passo e non ho avuto problemi. La connessione è molto stabile. Qualità sonora. Soddisfatto.
