Here's what you need to know.
Sizing:- This is a slimmer fit than the standard N3B. Please refer to the Alpha website for detailed sizing info. (You'll need a measuring tape!)- I am < 5'7", < 136 lb, and the X-Small fits me perfectly. I have room for a long-sleeve shirt, a sweater, and a heavy vest layer.- The sleeves give me excellent range of motion, even with the layers on.Performance in Cold:- At 10 F with layers and moderate activity, I have been very warm (walking, de-icing the car).- I believe I can stay comfortable down to -15 F, with layers.- For active outdoors, this parka may be too warm.- A major difference between this and the "Slim Fit N3B" is the removable inner bib. This bib adds a knit collar and extra seal from the elements.Wind protection: very good.Wet conditions:- I've worn this in snow, fog, and light rain. The nylon shell resists water. I have sprayed the outside of the parka in the shower, and the water beads off.- Note: polyester fill can retain heat even when wet. This is a major advantage over down fill.Looks:- Imagine a light space suit. I prefer this look, especially when the windchill is below zero. It is the look of being smart.- The entire hood is lined with fur, not just on the rim! The fur is fluffy, not cheap looking.Pockets:- There is one left inner pocket (5"x7") with a snap-fastener. There are no pockets that lie within the insulation layer. (See the "quirks" section.)- The rest of the pockets are as you see in the pictures.- The chest pockets are great for holding a wallet or cell phone.Quality:- Overall, the quality is excellent, well above my expectations.- I did not detect weak button stitching as mentioned on the N3B or Slim-Fit N3B. If you want to be extra-secure, apply flexible clothing glue to the thread shafts.Quirks:- The knit cuffs compress the wrist if worn with tight gloves. Solution: flip the cuffs upward before putting on.- The inner bib has two ornamental zippers at chest level, identical to the main bib zipper. To prevent a guessing game, unzip the ornamental zippers to lower them out of the way.- All pockets are outside the insulation layer, including the inner pocket. When I'm stuck without gloves, I retract my hands into the knit cuffs, and it works well for me. (YMMV.)Final thoughts:Due to the limited info available at the time of purchase, I feel I've taken a big risk -- and it has paid off. I'm beyond happy with the purchase. It looks very nice, and I haven't been cold.Does the parka earn its "Inclement" namesake? Yes. However, use common sense, and don't rely on just one garment to provide 100% of your warmth and protection.

and it fits fine. First use about 15 degrees and snowblowing only ...
Bought a size larger than normal, based on reviews, and it fits fine. First use about 15 degrees and snowblowing only about 4 inches of new snow so not the worst conditions. The wind blowing back snow on me proved it was waterproof. Didn't layer with only a heavy shirt underneath and was quite warm. Good and bad. Took the fake fur collar off as I had no use for it. There's a ton of zippers for little pockets that I'll likely never use. Almost all parkas have hoods and it is hard to find a good one where it is removable, as it isn't on this one. I like to just wear a wool cap. Unfortunately I can't even find a way to roll this hood up and tuck it away. My major complaint is I've always worn gauntlet gloves and the sleeves on the coat are too wide for the gauntlets to fit over and there are no buttons or velcro to tighten them up to be narrower. The cost of fixing that could easily be made up by not having the Alpha Industries logo on the sleeve, which looks like some Air Force E-4 rank. I like the bib and appreciate the big buttons, rather than snaps. I haven't used it doing work-work so I don't know how rip proof is the nylon outer. Anyway this parka isn't goose feathers but doesn't cost big bucks and it seems to do the job for which was intended - keep me warm.

Utterly Original and Awesome Parka for an Unbelievably Good Price - Great Return Policy Too
So, I bought two of these initially...unsure of which size and which color I wanted. It seemed a no-brainer since the return policy is so great (shipping back is free). I purchased 1 XL Black and 1 L Replica Grey. I am 6' 4" 225 lbs. I am in very good shape (ex Navy SEAL) and have some good size but not barrel chested. The XL was just a bit too big but I would have kept it if the Large was too small. It was not. I tried both on with a sweater on. The Large was a perfect fit and it looked nice and slim just like it does on the model (which is rare, right?). It is a stunningly cool coat. It is very, very warm but breathable too.I believe I read it somewhere else but the Replica Grey is anything but "Grey". It is definitely green, I mean GREEN. Here's a link to another jacket closer in actual color. This coat is a barely brighter version of the Replica Grey http://www.amazon.com/Alpha-Industries-Bomber-Flight-Jacket/dp/B002VWK5QY/ref=pd_rhf_dp_s_cp_8?ie=UTF8&refRID=031A0CWR4AH3F1X59MSFI can't emphasize what a cool, standout jacket this is. It is definitely original and the contrast of color between the coat and the zippers, patches, stitching, and liner are awesome. The fur is on the inside of the hood AS WELL as the lining outside, which is removable. My only criticism, which is on a bunch of other reviews, is the outside pockets. They are external to the insulation. No big deal. If something is going to not be perfect, I would opt for this. Other than that, it is such a great, great coat.

Winter Ready, Well fitted, highly recommended
Sizing:-I found this coat fit well, and as expected. I ordered a Medium in the Steel Blue colour.- The jacket isn't tight, if anything it's a little bigger than other jackets I've gotten which is nice.I recommend you order your regular size.Appearance:- It's visually very attractive. It has really nice stitching and the fur hood is beautiful. The steel blue is a nice colour that isn't too harshPockets and Functionality:- There are so many pockets on this jacket you can carry a small arsenal with you.- The pocket sizes are quite large and in one of the breast pockets I can fit my iPhone 6, my wallet, and my sunglasses.-There are 2 decorative zippers in the inner layer that appear to be pockets, but in total there are 5 large pockets on this jacket** One design flaw and solution **There is not a single pocket you can comfortably slip your hands into while you're walking. This was originally a big concern for me, but the sleeves are long enough that the cuffs allow you to move the sleeve down over your hands to keep warm.- I rarely wear gloves with this jacket because the sleeves provide more than enough protection and warmth for my handsCuffs are a fitted material, but are easily manipulated to accommodate you without the sleeve coming too far down your arm.Performance in wet weather:- The hood isn't just for show, just pull it up and it will shield your face from the rain and you don't need an umbrella. The jacket is completely waterproof, I've walked long distances in the rain and when I arrive I am always dry under the jacket.-You're NEVER cold in this jacket, it keeps you warm in the rain, snow, blizzard, anything.Performance in the cold and snow-Like the rain, it can withstand the blistering cold of winter, and snow storms are a non-issue. The hood effectively combats the snow to allow for some visibility, and I've worn this jacket out into -28 thus far and it never disappoints, I'm toasty warm.I've worn this parka for long distance walking, I use it when I am clearing the snow out front, I wear it all winter long! For the purpose of this review I wore only a thin T-Shirt under the park in -20 weather when it was snowing with gusting winds for the day, and I was never cold. Not once. I forgot I was even wearing the T-Shirt until I took the jacket off!Quality:Top notch. The stitching is precise, the measurements are accurate, the buttons are fastened with a thick durable cord that will not easily break, and the hood is made with a very soft, warm, high quality material.Overall:I highly recommend this jacket, I would purchase it again. It meets all the demands of a Canadian Winter and goes beyond them, I love this parka and I hope this review can help you decide for yourselves what you're purchasing.

Between -20c and 0c it is perfect. Lower than -20c and it begins to lose ...
As others have said, a bit warm on cooler days. Too warm for 0c and above. Between -20c and 0c it is perfect. Lower than -20c and it begins to lose some warmth, but still very comfortable (IE: it doesn't lose enough to make me chilly). The hood works wonderfully - at -15c I don't even use a touque! Blocks significant wind! I haven't tested it any lower than that. The inner removable 'liner' doesn't seem to do much and I removed it (also had fashion-zippers yuck).Overall I am very satisfied.CAVEAT: I had to return the jacket twice, as both time the bottom of the zipper ripped from its stitching. On the third one I will be reinforcing the stitching at the bottom of the jacket. The poor strength of the zipper loses it 2 stars - otherwise it would have received 5.

Great parka and if coupled with a sweater
Great parka and if coupled with a sweater, it will keep you warm in -30C weather! I need to get something better for my hands and feet though...

poor quality.
I've been wearing this for about 3 months and I find the build quality to be very poor. the Pocket liner is ripping already and I can feel the stuffing inside. The fabric around the zipper is fraying already and is likely going to rip soon. I've only been wearing this jacket to work, I have a different jacket when I go out. Very disappointed.

Grande y caliente
La calidad de la chamarra es inmensa, lo único es que es más pesada y grande de lo que esperaba, pero es perfecta si planeas un viaje a un lugar con climas extremos. Recomendada.
