These were just what I was looking for. Most extra wide shoes are still tight on my feet, especially at big toe joints. The reviews I read said these run wider than a normal extra wide and they were correct. Seemed to be designed to give extra room in the toe area. Most shoes dig in at the back of my heal as well - these don't. They are by far the most comfortable shoe I've owned with good support and have great cushioning effect (better than most sneakers I've owned). I will keep buying these shoes as long as they keep making them.The first set I bought was about a year ago and they have held up better than any other shoe I've owned - a good cleaning with light polish and they still look new. The last few shoes I've owned had issues with the soles separating - not these, as said they still look new when polished up. They're a little higher than a lot of the more popular brands, but well worth the money considering the fit and durability!

I am 6-weeks in to wearing these shoes 5-days per week and to church on Sundays (today is Christmas, 2020). As many other reviews have noted this shoe comes a little larger than my normal sizing (of 15 medium). In Nike, Merrell, Asics, and New Balance brands, for instance, size 15 is true to fit. I always order medium width. These are just a hair above that. Despite that, for the cost, these are great shoes. Fortunately the size issue has not caused any issues such as rubbing, blisters, or anything like that. They are extremely comfortable, just a little bit loose. I don't imagine dropping a size would work for me, so they are not THAT loose. My job in healthcare requires that I am on my feet and moving 6-7 hours out of the day. My feet feel just fine at the end of the day. I will be ordering another pair after the New Year just so I can have them at the ready. I am very pleased with the purchase so far and expect to get a year out of these shoes. I'll update if there are any issues.Update: June 26, 2021: Still in great shape with 60+ hours per week wear both to work and church the last 7-months. I'm very surprised. These have been a fine pair of shoes and the other pair I ordered are still in the box waiting for me. I hope they keep making these!!!Update: February 8, 2022: I finally broke down and pulled the other box out. These shoes, which lasted far, far longer than I ever imagined, have served me well. For the price I truly am surprised. I'm going to buy another pair to have as back up this week.

Nice very light weight shoes with good construction. Materials for the uppers is not a scuff magnet, great for us clumsy people. The length may be just slightly shorter, though very close to comparable brands (e.g., Clarks, Rockports, Florsheims). They are comfortable though just a bit wider than I had expected for a medium width, could be the style? The darker brown color gives these shoes great wardrobe versatility. Decent looking enough for everyday business and social functions, probably less so for formal occasions. Slip on design has stayed snug so far. The soles appear to grip well in wet conditions.

Since I was a young teen, I wore Hush Puppies. They were comfortable, at the time they were brushed leather. They fit well and lasted fairly long. They were a shoe that did not seem to need to be broken in.This pair of Hush Puppies, fit immediately on opening the shoe box. The fit is a bit tight for me, but I believe that is me and not the shoes. I think that with more wear, they will fit fine.I question whether shoe sizes have remained standard even with a given manufacturer. So grading the length, width, arch, etc, to me is much of a guessing game. When I was in my early 20's I wore a size 13E. The pair I am reviewing are 15 Wide. Are my feet that much longer or wider? Maybe, but I think it is also that sizes have changed. I believe that Hush Puppies used to be manufactured in the USA. I forget the country of origin for this pair, but it was definitely one of the Asian countries, ie. China, Korea, Taiwan, etc.I used Amazon's "try them before buying" program. I was satisfied enough with them to go ahead and purchase them. Over all, I am a happy camper.

best pair of shoes i have purchased in a long time

I bought these shoes because for years my main shoes have been Merrell Jungle Moc's and I wanted a pair of shoes that were equally comfortable but had a more professional look to them. I have fairly wide feet so I initially went with the double wides which turned out to be huge, however Amazon had no problem letting me return them for a regular wide.At first, I was a bit concerned because I found that they made my feet sore after extended wear. However, these shoes are well made and just need to be broken in. Now after 3 or 4 times wearing them they fit and feel great and look nice enough that I feel comfortable wearing them to the office. I wouldn't wear them to a formal event, but I think they are perfectly acceptable for business casual wear and most importantly (for me), they are very comfy.Lastly, the price at the time of my purchase was $68, a good twenty bucks cheaper than my old merrell's.EDIT: 10 months later, the back of the shoe is starting to collapse. To be fair, I wear them pretty much every day but these seem to have worn out rather fast.

I have not worn Hush Puppy shoes in 60 years and only because my grandfather insisted that I try on a gray pair of laced Hush Puppy shoes, and I detested them. I was searching on Amazon for a pair of good-looking slip-on shoes and found these.Right out of the box the dark brown Hush Puppy shoes fit perfectly. Plenty of room for my and no rubbing heel.I like the shoes so much that I have ordered a pair of black Lunar II slip-ons,

Love them and will purchase a second pair in black next...the construction is excellent and the soles are better than most.

I purchased these shoes based on reviews and the soft look. It is true fit to my size of 9.5W but found the shoe is stiffer than portrayed.
