Got this to fix on the small door under the stairs. I just got fed up searching for the pull down light switch which having found it the string then subsequently snapped. Just like my patience. So I bought this small unit which was not the cheapest here but to me it looked robust. I was not wrong. Fitted so that as and when the door now opens the light comes auto on. Brilliant. The wiring is straightforward and simple. Its a 'live' in and then back out to the bulb. Fix the wiring incoming 'live' wire to either screw as it makes no difference. No neutral required just in and out with the switch wire. Not much else to say apart from the fact that I rate it very highly and well worth the cash if you require this sort of switch. Have since purchased another 2 units to fit on a cupboard door and the door to our small boiler room area. Anything that's auto is my type of gadget. All IMHO of course.

Easy to install, works like a charm. Just take care to line it up properly so that the door closing switches the light off. The switch itself looks like it’s good quality, and once installed, it has worked perfectly. So…. On the grounds that it is inexpensive, and looks like it will last, I recommend this wholeheartedly!

Works as described, but screw down terminations are quite fiddly, would be better with snap down or push in style connectors.

No space for spare wiring inside (e.g. neutral), but if you wire then up right then they can look very tidy. The switch mechanism is nice and doesn't take much pressure to push, so should reliably cover my cupboard use case (it's not zero effort to press, but my cupboard is very light and somehow manages to push it perfectly)

I used this switch for under the stairs cupboard. It saves me switching the light on and off every time I go in there. So far so good. I returned a motion sensor light which I felt was using more electricity and cost a lot more than the switch. It still makes me smile every time I open the cupboard door and it lights up for me. The switch does not have an earth terminal but that was not a problem as the whole case is plastic.

Works as it should and easy to install

Replaced our old metal door switch in our coat cupboard. Straight swap. The contact switch is a good size and turns the light on and off just before the door fully closes.

Interruptor de puerta que funciona correctamente. La única pega es que el muelle del pulsador es quizás demasiado "fuerte" y hay que colocarlo en un punto de la puerta donde la bisagra y el mecanismo de cierre supere la resistencia del muelle para que actue como corresponde.
