1.2mm x 1.25mm size link cable chain necklace finished with 5.5mm spring ring clasp. Links are made with 30 Gauge wire (0.25mm thick) This is in 14 Karat yellow gold-filled also known as 14/20. Made in USA. 14 Karat Gold-Filled is composed of a solid layer of 14 Karat gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass. The quality is much better than gold plated. Because of the technique used for bonding, the chains have the appearance of real 14K gold pieces, but because the quantity of gold is substantially lower these are much cheaper.
