Brixton Men's Wesley Fedora

After purchasing a cheap black fedora on a whim at Target, I slowly came to realize that 1. Not all hats are created equal and 2. There is a reason Ann Demuelemeester's hats are hundred and hundreds of dollars. The devil is in the design AND details.Being a fan of fashion, I was looking for a hat that was timeless and yet had a certain edge. The original fedora I purchased, was a typical cheap fedora made of wool. This fedora is similarly made of wool but the quality is instantaneously noticeable upon feeling. The wool is soft, but holds it's shape to certain extents. The fedora has movement to it and is not stiff and the brim is not secured with a hem. The top and dimples are mostly shaped and resistant to deformation giving the hat a structured base while the brim of the hat is left to it's own and your devices, allowing you or the elements to slightly alter it's shape. It's the yin and yang of sophistication, structured, but with the ability to look effortless.The brim of the hat is larger than normal giving it a bit more edge and was a detail that I was looking for specifically. Overall I am happy with this hat and believe that the quality and design justify the price. After purchasing this hat, the other cheaper version has gone into my car trunk as a backup.

This hat ROCKS!! Love it! I had to buy in XL as I am a female & I wear my hair full at times so itWouldn’t be too tight. Even with hair straight it fits well. Brixton is made very well! Men & Women can wear this Messer hat!! Sharp dressed down & just as Sharp dressed up! Great Buy!! I will always buy Brixton brand!! Worth the price!!

Was super excited about this purchase. I bout to west to my moms huge 60th birthday party. It arrived quickly, looked and fit great... Only problem is, I expected the brim to be stiff, like the picture... Like a brim. Instead it was floppy like a woman's sun hat. It seriously looked like a woman's hat that would be worn to a tropical island. Super disappointed and frustrated that I have to eat the cash; especially since I chose the next day option. Just ended up giving it to my sister, it looked better on her anyway. Not cool.

This seems to be a good quality hat. It is made with an unfinished brim and the material isn't extremely thick, so the brim is somewhat floppy. The hat does hold its shape pretty well in spite of this. It only comes in small, medium, and large, so if you're in between sizes like I am, you have to make do with the closest size. The medium is a 7.25, which is very slightly too big for me. I haven't had the hat long enough to know for sure, but since it is 100% wool, I figured that being out in the rain and snow would possibly shrink it a bit to fit me better. It has a nice look though, maybe even better for women than for men since the brim is a little floppy. (At least that was my and my brother's opinion.)

This fedora is super fun and sassy! I know it says it's a men's fedora, but ladies can definitely pull this off. I ordered three sizes based on the measurement chart. I ended going down a size from what the chart indicated for a perfect fit. I can wear the x-small in the wind and it stays snugly in place without being too tight. It did stretch out a bit with the first wear, but the fit is still great. I've worn it with a tunic dress, leggings, tall black boots, a poncho, scarf, black gloves, and a ladylike red handbag--soooooo cute!! I've also worn it with jeans, a sweater, short leather jacket, scarf, ankle boots, and a small crossbody bag--again, sooooooo cute. Now I'd like a gray and a burgundy one.

I really really love this hat. The large was too small for my massive head, but I wore it for a weekend anyway and looked damn cute doing so if I may say so myself. Very good quality. I ended up giving it to a friend who has a normal-sized head and she was over the moon about it :)

This is a wonderful hat, in my opinion, but has a fatal flaw for me: It doesn't keep its shape as the sides of the rim voluntarily flopped down when I attempted to wear it. I returned the first one for a replacement and the second one acted in the same way. If this isn't a problem for you, I liked everything else about it.

I had considered purchasing a Janessa Leone or Rag and Bone fedora before stumbling across the Brixton Wesley fedora. I couldn't justify spending $200 for a hat, even though I'm sure the quality and material would be amazing.This hat offers everything I was after, quality for a reasonable price, simplistic and sleek. The quality was apparent as soon as I removed it out of the box, the wool is thick yet soft, not too floppy, not too stiff. This is a timeless staple item for any wardrobe. Love the subtle leather trim around the hat, it's tacked on unlike cheaper hats which tend to have cheap ribbon glued on.This purchase was totally worth it :)

El único punto negativo que le he encontrado al articulo ha sido su envió, si bien llego dentro del tiempo indicado, el sombrero llego mal empacado en una caja bastante pequeña, de ahí en adelante solo hay puntos buenos. Al ser un sombrero colapsable/crushable, es fácil enrollarlo y guardarlo en tu bolso/maleta o en el bolsillo interior de tu saco/chamarra, al regresar a su estado original mantiene muy bien su forma, incluido lo plano del ala. El fieltro se siente de buena calidad, incluso resiste apropiadamente lloviznas ligeras (aunque no recomendaría usarlo durante una lluvia fuerte). En la parte interior de la banda para sudor del sombrero cuenta con una tira de fieltro para ajustar el sombrero en caso de que te quede un poco grande, lo cual me ha sido bastante útil, pues estoy en el limbo entre la talla M y G de la mayoría de los sombreros. La toquilla es un poco estrecha, lo que lo limita al uso casual/informal. Lo compre en rebaja, así que no podría hablar apropiadamente de su relacion calidad-precio.

I read the reviews and was nervous to order this hat, however in my case my experience has been perfect! The hat is exactly how I expected it to be, and in brand new condition. The package arrived on time as promised and held the shape of the hat well. Overall I am extremely satisfied and would order again.
