This is darker than the photo.

It's very stiff and not soft/malleable. I tried soaking it in warm water with vinegar and conditioner (blame the internet) and it softened it, but after a seperate wash it went back to being scratchy&stiff. Idk why it is so dang stiff. It is frustrating me.

I'm saddened that America no longer makes that most American of fashion accessories, the Bandanna. Cowboys and rockers have been keeping dust out of their mouths and sweat off their brow for over a century with a curiously paisleyed piece of cotton someone named "the bandanna". Odd how it became so closely identified with America when the word is hindustani in origin and refers to an old method of dying cotton. How different the world would be if the boys at the OK Corral also knew of Ganesh the elephant headed God and not just bandannas.But these bandannas suffice to keep me safe from covid at a time when real masks, also entirely made in China, can no longer be found. Plus, when I'm seen around town in a bandanna, rather than a "purpose built mask", it says to those around me "Here's a man who cares about you. An unselfish man who wants neither to receive nor to give a possibly deadly virus to his neighbors, townspeople and even unknown passerby's. He is a man upon which you can build a community, a future a path to progress and peace. And he looks kind of cute without a whole face."And the great thing about using a bandanna instead of a mask is that it's so much more versatile. Banda a is perfect for my needs. It is also colorful and good quality.

I ordered the navy and baby blue bandanas. The colors are pretty accurate. However, the material is very thin and scratchy, even after a few washes. The biggest problem I have with the bandanas is the large "made in china" printed on them. Not attractive and quite noticeable. You need to pay close attention to your fold to eliminate its appearance. I will probably order from another seller next time I need more bandanas.

Did not receive my purple or lavender ones with my dark & light gray ones!
