It's very thorough, with alot of helpful and critical information regarding dealing with emergency first aid. The essential life saving skills are all included and other information that goes beyond the required course. Alot of visuals I also found very helpful. MT from California

Very helpful for my classwork.

I purchased this book for a class. My instructor required me to have this book for class. Good purchase for the purpose.

This book was exactly as described. It was in good used condition,and included a disk with the book and it had a very small amount of damage to it.

My daughter needed this for class. Came quickly, no problems.

While this book is great for review, it is not the most current offering from the Red Cross. The book is dated March of 2006. The Red Cross updated the techniques and materials in 2011. If you are purchasing this book to bring to your Course, please be advised that this is not the current version and therefore, not up to date on things such as the CPR technique.As an instructor, I would not accept this book from a student. Make sure you are using the 2011 version.

This was very helpful, I recommend that everyone should try and get First Aid certified. Especially if you have children.
