Let's get this out of the way: this product definitely has an aftertaste that doesn't taste like your "normal" toothpaste.The best that I can describe it is that it's mildly metallic, but not overpoweringly so and you can get rid of most of it just by rinsing a bit more than you normally would and using warm water when you rinse.I was a long time user of the old formulation which used Triclosan but stopped buying it years ago due to the studies which have shown adverse effects of long term exposure to Triclosan and its effect on the environment. I switched to a normal formulation and have been very satisfied but was curious for this new formulation because for sure, the old formulation with Triclosan definitely prevents the buildup of biofilm longer than normal toothpastes.In all other respects, it works as well as other toothpastes. It foams nicely, no weird mouthfeel, nothing funky aside from the slightly odd aftertaste. I find it as effective as Triclosan formulation and I can go all day without noticing any biofilm buildup and it does a great job keeping my breath neutral, even 12 hours later.If you can get over the taste and rinse more thoroughly, then I think you'll like this toothpaste. Just be ready to commit to it!

New formula contains zinc phosphate which is a powerfull antibiotic that bonds to teeth and hardens enamel in addition to flouride and possibly works together with flouride. Keeps teeth squeaky clean by resisting plaques. I highly recommend it.

I received the right package size of the items I have ordered

My family likes this toothpaste! I purchase a 4 pack 7/2021. I thought I've seen inflation before but now this same toothpaste is over $10.00 higher now!! I guess we will go back to using peroxide and the cheaper brands until the price comes down!!

Colgate is Colgate. What's not to like. But...I purchased 4 5 oz tubes about two weeks ago and found that each tube expires in January, 2021. Woah! Is that why it was such a deal?In less than three months I'm going to be left with 3 tubes of officially expired toothpaste. Does it matter? I called company and they said that they recommend using the product by the expiration for best use, product stability, etc. What can wrong with expired toothpaste? Let the buyer beware. I suppose you can return the tubes if you find the expiration too soon or be generous and share with your neighbors.

Stannous fluoride. We are limited, in my town, and stannous fluoride is better than sodium fluoride for fighting cavities. I am particular about what companies I buy from. I won’t buy Proctor and Gamble products, so, pleased I can order Colgate from back home. They don’t sell Colgate SF in my English town.

I happen to like this toothpaste best, especially because it's the gel version. Just my opinion.

I have be using this particular brand of Colgate since I was in high cool. Their is no toothpaste that cleans and leave your mouth feeling refreshed such as this one.
