Just arrived today so I can't comment on how well it works. Never had a breadbox before, but after reading an article about storing breads I decided it was worth trying out.It certainly is an attractive addition to my kitchen.The breadbox arrived very well packed, double shrink-wrapped with foam corner protectors in a sturdy corrugated box. The biggest effort was unpacking it.Some minor assembly was required. The difficult assemby was complete, but the door needed to be installed using two provided self-tapping screws and your own phillips-head screwdriver. A small bag contained four self-tapping screws and four self-adhesive bumpers, but was not labelled so it is probably something used for a number of products.The door was not installed in order to protect it from damage during shipping. In addition to the bubblewrap around the door there was protective film on both sides of the window.The workmanship is outstanding; all the pieces fit together properly and were tight together. There are seven scrfewheads visible on each end, but they are colored close to the color of the bamboo. Furthermore, if the wood should shrink over time the screws can be tightened.Little confusion over branding: the installation instructions referred to Goodpick, but the website was labeled INDRESSME.

Update: The customer service for this company is nothing short of phenomenal! They very quickly responded when I finally figured out how to email them and provided a code for me to re-purchase the breadbox after I provided pictures of the defect. I am very excited to receive it as it is very cute! I hope the defect on the first one was just a fluke. Still a little on the small side, wish it was deeper, but the fantastic customer service more than makes up for it!_____________________________________The breadbox is nice, although smaller than it appears in the picture. My biggest complaint is that it came with the holes in the door to connect it to the actual box were drilled at the top of the door instead of at the bottom so I had to try to line up and pre-drill the holes in the correct location. This ended up with the door at the bottom corner splitting when screwing it in to attach it to the box. Expensive breadbox to now have a split door. Would be nice to request a door replacement, but I can't find a way to contact the seller. It probably won't last long and now I can't return it.

Great material choice, slim and stylish. Our breads are out of the plastic bags and stay just as fresh in the box. The magnet is too strong for the aplication we added a felt pad for easier opening. Minus one star the bottom of the box is not one board rather a fiber sheet sandwitched between two bamboo planks forming a channel with vertical sides thats imposible to clean crumbs from. I modified mine so it would be one flat surface front to back. The back wall off the box is also fiberboard sheet. This box gives you the caoacity if a big box and doesnt take away from counter space. No complaints on the quality and the window makes my bread look delicous.

I bought this almost on a whim, I was tired of moving bread back and forth..etc! I'd looked at my local Walmart and unsurprisingly there was none. I'd also remembered having an old metal bread box on our counter growing up. It smelled terrible because we always forgot what was in it, or things invariably got shuffled to the bottom to be smashed and left to turn into science experiments!I chose this because it looked super cute, I could easily organize my items while seeing them and being reminded to what was in it.My husband has commented on it and said the bread is staying fresher! The only downside to this was the price, however, you get what you pay for and I am genuinely pleased and would recommend!

This is a great bread box. I was a little concerned after reading the negative reviews but went ahead and ordered. I am glad I did. The box was packaged very well with styrofoam to protect all the corners and was double wrapped in plastic for even more protection. There was some odor when unwrapped but I think it was mostly from being so well wrapped. I put it outside for a couple of hours and the odor was completely gone. Assembly was easy, just two screws to attach the doors. To correctly attach doors, put both screws in just enough to hold then tighten a little on each side while alternating sides. This will allow you to get perfect alignment. It's just the size I was looking for. I have my loaf of bread on one shelf and hotdog and hamburger buns on the other. No more squished bread and my counter is clear!

There are things I like and dislike about the item but overall I do feel like I got what I paid for. I can fit 2 full loaves of bread (1 on top and 1 on bottom) in the box. The box came fully assembled except the door so we had to put that on, but it was easy. It is not a high quality wood, but I do like the color. The window is a flimsy plexiglass which I wish it was real glass, but it still looks nice. I don't have any complaints but thought these details might help someone else who has different expectations than me.

I just received my bamboo bread bin. I'm very excited to try it out and love the look of the bamboo. The size is great and can easily accommodate 2 loaves of homemade bread from our bread machine with some room to spare because of the two shelves. Assembly was easy as well. Two screws to attach the see-through door and you're in business. It fits perfectly above our fridge.

Well-made. This bread box is not a very large one. But it was perfect. Think of it this way, you could put one loaf of bread on the top shelf and one loaf of bread on the bottom shelf it would fit perfectly. I like that it is tall and it is short front to back and does not take up the counter space. The wood is nice and the seams are even and was put together very well I would recommend it , it is well-made.

This box does everything you ask of it. It is the most obedient box. It has good strength and a reputable family. You can store more than bread and apples in this box. The door is inviting. The glass is plastic. The back is thick cardboard. It's okay, because you get sturdiness and beauty. I would recommend this box if you like getting nice things for yourself. If you do not, then get one of those tin ones that are basically shoe boxes, but I think you are worth more than that. I believe in you. Get this box.

Was easy to put together, nothing was broken, been using a month or so now and its still going strong. Looks nice, fits a good amount of bread.

I really genuinely like this bread box. It saves counter space and makes everything look neater. If I had one issue, it’s that you have to keep the bread in its bag, because the box isn’t airtight and it’ll go stale.

I purchased it to us as a storage cabinet instead of a bread box. Works wonderful - and stores all the little bottles, salt & pepper, etc. that seem to collect on my kitchen island. Keeps the island looking clean and tidy. Would prefer if the shelf was adjustable instead of in a fixed position, but I can make due. It is finished nicely, no rough edges, even the back is finished in wood.

Looks great and easy to assemble. I was disappointed the front is a thin plastic type material and not glass which causes concern for discolouration, longevity and warping.
