4 piece suspension
If you can, go with originals. You'll be in same situation in 6 months.

NOT even close to oem (original equipment manufactured)
I installed on my 2003 honda element and for the first couple weeks was ok, but then the sagged and still sag with no weight in the back end, i called detroit axle there is a 10 year warranty, but i had to pay shipping of 70$, the two rear struts costed around 145, what a joke! i will never buy anything from detroit axle again and if anyone else wants to buy from them, buyers beware. I tried to download photo so all could see but i cannot get it to upload. not a good company

product was great except not all parts shipped in package. one strut defective, frozen!
i had to purchase a missing part from a local vendor because one part was missing, but paid for.contacted Detroit Axle, no refund, no help! still have the frozen strut on vehicle left front.need to find suitable replacement from a reliable vendor, trusted source.

Worst choice for long term reliability.
Fits fine. Easy install once everything else is apart. Quality is weak and the parts are not interchangeable with the Honda assembly. If you decide to install these you should keep all of the original parts. I managed to get less than 3 calendars years out of these and less than 20K miles of use. There is a 10 year warranty on these, but it'll just mean you always be working on it. I decided to go back to OEM parts as I didn't have any issue in the 100K miles of driving from stock parts. If you're planning to sell your vehicle and want it to present its as a smooth riding vehicle; go for it. Just remember the sawdust in the oil tricks of used car salesmen of the past. This is essentially what you're getting with this set up; a quick fix and a problem that will quickly return. Also; the rear assemblies squeak a bit going over speed bumps (They're next on my list).

Garbage
These are garbage quick struts. Had them professionally installed and vehicle aligned. Upon acceleration the front of the vehicle lifts upwards of 3 to 4 inches (almost like the spring flexes) causeing the front wheels to turn inward making the steering erratic. And one of the rear struts the strut mount/ top hat is faulty cause the shock/piston to push thru into the vehicle. The customer service rep claims faulty installation. But when i offer to send the receipts for installation and alignment. All they want is a deposit for them to send replacement. Nothing to help off set the cost of reinstalling or a second alignment. Then i tell them im no longer interested and to just send me a return lable they hung up.

Extremely unhappy
The media could not be loaded. So far my experience with these products from Detroit axle has been disappointing not only did I buy the strut assemblies I also bought inner outer tie rods links and ball joints. I had the parts professionally installed and paid full retail price there is a ton of play in the outer tie rod and or strut tie rod mounting point. Not even able to drive the vehicle due to the fact that the steering is all over the place. Definitely get what you pay for

Absolute garbage.
Junk! I bought directly from DTA and while they fit great off the bat they are absolute garbage. Within 6 months and 3k miles the rubber bushings in the bottom mount are trashed. Started noticing a clunk, upon inspection the rubber is smashed and the bolt and steel bushing is now banging against the mount. DTA’s warranty response is that I can remove the old strut and mail it to them at my cost and IF they deem it warrantable they’ll send a replacement. But only one at a time, not both. So I have ordered Monroe’s like I should have in the first place, and am throwing these in the scrap pile.
