The Douche Journals: The Definitive Account of One Man's Genius

I figured that this book would not use material taken from the tv shows. I didn't realize that this author whoever that actually was would run out of good ideas so quickly. The funniest part of the book is the introduction that is supposedly Schmidt trying to persuade Nick to write this for him. The "emails" being sent back and forth between Schmidt and Nick are what persuades me to give this two stars. To be fair, there are some other good lines in the book. But it seems like the author ran out of ideas and just starting trying to pad the text with lots of masturbation jokes. It got old. I'd sell the book, but the seller who sent it to me did not package it very well and I received the book with one corner badly bent.

I recently started to re-watch this show, it’s one of my favorites so when I saw this, I thought “I must have this”. This books includes funny pictures. It’s amazing how much I can hear Schmidt speaking here.

The book was great if you enjoy Schmidt’s character in the show. I will say that it is truly a “journal”. If you are looking for a long read, this will not be for you. With all that being said, the quotes are absolutely hilarious and I loved it.

If your expecting all of the little quips that are in the show this isn't the book for you. This seems to be a book that was before the show started kind of thing. It is all definitely schmidt and is hillarious! If you're a fan of new girl and love when Schmidt has to put money in the jar, then you'll love this book!

It's like an entire book of lines that could have gone in the show. Hilarious. I was laughing so loud. The writers behind this character are geniuses.If you like the show/Schmidt, you'll love this book. It's not short either! It's pretty substantial. I wish it just kept going and going though. Couldn't get enough.

My boyfriend and I love New Girl and especially Schmidt, so I got him this book for his birthday. It's really funny and overall a good gift- however I thought it would be an actually book of some sort, but it's just a bunch of quotes basically, so that was disappointing. But I'm glad I got it anyway!

Bought this as a Christmas present but I ended up carefully reading it myself first! The humour is quite americanised but if you get New girl that's not a problem. It came within a few days despite the Christmas rush and my friend loved it. Definitely buy it if you're after some light reading. (only very very minor criticism is that the price - £8.27- isn't as low as usual for amazon) nevertheless great book!!

This book is fantastic, great for New Girl fans, would recommend this to anyone as a great gift,lots of laughs to be had from it if you are a fan of the series!Arrived quickly and in great condition.

A god to the gauche, Schmidt is outstanding in his field -must be, my 23 year old son thought I was cool to buy it for him. Haven't read it all yet, as son uses it for Schmidt parties -don't ask. I am told they are on fbook.
