Compared to my electric strimmer this is really quiet. It also cuts the grass rather than shredding it, so less mess, and it doesn't throw grass cuttings on to your trousers. My only criticism is that the clip that fixes the wheels on to the machine should be metal not plastic. I broke it on first usage.I bought this because my usual strimmer makes my back ache and the vibration into my hand is uncomfortable, and both these don't happen with this machine. On the other hand, having to hold the button down to keep it working is just as uncomfortable, as I have arthritis in my hands. The arthritis also prevented me from detaching the handle, so I won't be doing that very often! So, I'm glad I bought it but there's room for improvement.

I ordered one but when I opened it up the wheel attachment was broken, had full money on return, ordered another one used it once loved it, but the wheel attached has broke was wondering if this is a fault, I loosened the nut then attached & screwed back up, now can’t fit wheels on as broken.I bought this as it had a long handle & can fit wheels on so no bending down as I have arthritis. Can I buy the wheel attachment, or is this an expensive item that I now can’t use. I was contacted from seller & a replacement was sent out a few days later very happy with the service I received thank you.

I’m thrilled with this. I hate strimmers and I’ve used the mini cutter like a strimmer without the worry of cutting a frog in half or disembowelling a lizard. You have so much control, both by hand or with the dinky arm. I really recommend this. You can work it with a cup of tea in the other hand.

I have owned this product for 2/3 months now, and I am finding it to be increasingly useful as time goes by.It requires a bit of a knack to operate it to it's full potential. Do not use it heavy handedly, or else it will strip your grass. But if used with a light touch it is invaluable for precise trimming of the outer edges of lawns laterally and vertically. It does the job extremely quickly, leaving a very tidy finish.It is so lightweight to handle, and the battery is long lasting.

I bought this as a present,it arrived on time,and was a reasonable price,I liked the idea as to use as a hand tool or using the extension to save as bending down. They haven't used it yet but I haven't been told good it is. I will update when I hear about it

Given the price of this grass & hedge trimmer, I was not expecting much.Seems like sometimes you do get a bargain and this is it!What a fantastic bit of gardening kit, the grass trimmer and telescopic handle is an absolute godsend, it cuts really well, saves bending and getting a sore back.I have yet to try the hedge trimmer.Easy to use, charges very quickly. Love it.

I already have a cheap one of these hand held trimmers but wanted something a little more powerful and sturdy. This one is perfect. Does the job very well. The cutting head can be swivelled to make it easy to trim borders which is extremely useful. It works well both on wheels with the extended handle and as a hand held. Great little piece of kit.

This is so easy to assemble in both formats. I suffer with quite bad arthritis in my hands and wrists. This is light and easy to use. The hedge trimmer will cut light privet hedging, anything stronger it wont deal with. The grass edge cutter is great, easier and so much better than a trimmer.
