This stuff is not what it is advertised to be!
This product was advertised as the regular Dr. Pete in a 500 ml container. Instead I got two 50% less sugar Dr. Petes 14.8 containers. This product tastes like chemicals! I do not recommend ordering from a company that doesn't tell the truth!

Tasty!
This is money saving, tasty, and so much healthier than a regular can of soda (or coke as we call it in Texas!) my husband is a chronic Dr.Pepper addict, and he finds this a comparable switch. We had to buy it on Amazon because Walmart hasn't been carrying this flavor, or just isn't restocking it. I wish we could buy this not as an add-on item, though!

A Little Different, But Still Good Dr. Pepper Clone
The flavor is not quite Dr. Pepper but it does a pretty good job. Even with the differences its a good flavor.

Bleh!
The Dr. Pete is by far one of the worst flavors of my very disappointing SodaStream experience. I was lucky enough to get the soda maker for an amazing price but have yet to find a drinkable flavor. I love soda, I drink lots of soda, I was excited to join the craze, but these flavors have done nothing but disappoint. I guess I'm just very sensitive to the artificial sweeteners in these syrups because after five flavors I have yet to find a flavor I like. I know taste is subjective but the orange, lemon-lime, cola, Dr. Pete, and natural ginger ale flavors have all been disappointing for this soda consumer.

Good flavoring for mediocre technology
I had wanted a soda stream for a long time before I finally got one. Dr Pepper is my favorite soda, but I don't really drink soda any more (I lost like 35 lbs a couple years ago). I read online that I could control the amount of flavoring and therefore the amount of sugar by mixing in smaller amounts of this soda. Plus it would probably save me money in the long-term.The problem is that I've found Soda Stream drinks to go flat more quickly than actual sodas. As a result, I'm almost always left with non-bubbly sugar water that just tastes like the syrup. While this may not be an issue with the mix itself, and may be more of an issue with SodaStream as a product, it still makes this product less than appealing for me. I've made drinks using this mix about 6-7 times, all of which I thought tasted great at first, and then like gross syrup water after 10-15 minutes. So my recommendation is that if you have other flavors you've liked using with your SodaStream, and want to give this one a try, it's definitely worth a shot since you already know what to expect carbonation-wise from your SodaStream unit. But if you're just getting your SodaStream and haven't tried it by itself without flavoring, just drink sparkling water for a couple weeks first. If you end up satisfied with it, then definitely give this flavor a try!

The best flavour we've tried!
My family is a "Dr. Pepper" family for sure! We were hopeful about flavour but weren't counting on it. Well it's the best one we/ve tried so far! We like the Root beer in the "caps," but haven't yet tried the Rootbeer in the 500ml bottle, as it hasn't been delivered yet. Will let ya know when we do though! smilesAs for the Dr. Pete flavour, we will buy it again, and would definitely recomend it to others. Btw, we have even found that we can fill the lid a wee bit less than it says to, because it can actually taste a bit "too syrupy" if we fill it to the tippy top! Which is a very good sign I think.

Tastes Decent. Convenient. Expensive.
Compared to just buying pop at the store, the expense of this product hardly makes it worth it, especially when added to the cost of the CO2. It does have a decent taste, and is easy to make with my soda stream (which I used gift cards to purchase.) I still think I prefer the real Dr. Pepper, or even the generic brands, but this does satisfy the craving. Unfortunately, it also seems to give me headaches, which the 'real' pops don't do. I am very sensitive to food additives, chemicals, and such, and believe this is caused from the sucralose they use in place of sugar.

Definitely not Dr. Pepper
Has a chemical like after taste, definitely prefer the fruit flavors better.

Dr. Pete is my new friend
You could bottle Dr. Pete in a Dr. Popper bottle and I wouldn't be able to tell you it's not the real thing. Maybe not in a side by side taste test. It's fantastic, my favourite flavour so far.I dont even add a full capful and its still badass.Good job sodastream.
