Seems to work
Gave it 4 stars because I just finished dipping my cats and dog. As I was pouring the solution and rubbing it in I was watching the fleas drop off them dead. As soon as my cats come out of hiding I will flea comb them. But I will update if I see that it does really work well. But for the price I recommend that it is given a tryUpdate: with consistent treatment this is the best non prescription flea treatment. I still use it when I need to.

Fleas jumped off during bath
Mixed 12 oz with 3 gallons of warm water in a small galvanized trough. Then I tethered my 70# mutt to a post near the trough and maneuvered his front legs into the trough and with his torso over the trough with a big sponge soaked the dog with the fluid. Excess ran back into the trough. Repeated with the rear legs. Kept the dog saturated for about 10 minutes. Fleas crawled out of his fur and I sponged more solution on to wash them into the trough. Result: Too many Dead fleas to count. And I only needed to mix 3 gallons..

Best thing i have ever purchased and used
So my dog has been having the worst issues when it comes to fleas and i live in a tropical island where it feels like Flea season all year round. And my pup was full of them all of the time. I cried every time i had to comb them out and or applied every naturalRemedy i have tried since his skin is sensitive. Not to mention flea shampoo only brought more of them. Then i watched a groomers video on a dog that had fleas and used this product. That it was a pesticide but when used with caution it was effective. Me already have spent thousands of dollars in years just to have my pup flea free for once in his life ( and yes i even treated the entire house) i said hey if the groomer said it whats another $20.I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE SHOCKED AT THE RESULTS! my dog was nearly flea free after first use. And his skin was unbothered. After a fullMonth of use he was flea free. My pup had never been happier and me as well. 1000/ 10 recommend.

they were fine. It's an (hardly) okay product for ticks (not ...
It killed some ticks. It definitely thinned them out but they were not all gone. One thing that really bothered me was the product on here and on their website says it's safe for puppies 4 weeks and older but the packaging says 8 weeks or older. I didn't notice this until after I had dipped my 6 week old puppies. Luckily, they were fine. It's an (hardly) okay product for ticks (not sure about fleas, as we don't have any, but I've seen some good reviews about it working on fleas) but I wouldnt ever but it again. If you're looking for something to get rid of ticks, id suggest something else.

It worked for us!
We have been struggling with a severe tick infestation this summer and it has been such a battle. After multiple visits from our Orkin technician and a thorough cleansing of our home and garage, we finally got the tick population down to a more manageable situation. Now, to continue the fight on our dogs. My Rottweiler is 11 years old going on 12. I fear using a ton of chemicals on him because of his age. I also have a 3 year old Boston Terrier. For both, I diluted the solution a bit more than the recipe calls for on the bottle (4 oz to 1 gallon of water). The smell is very strong and I was afraid of my dogs getting sick. After giving them a bath with the bio groom flea and tick shampoo I applied this dip all over their body from the neck down concentrating on their paws. Unfortunately, I do not have a bucket big enough to fit my dogs in (we don’t have bath tubs in our home). So, I poured it very slowly down their back and allowed it to flow down to their feet and then dipping their paws in the solution. I used a fine self cleaning comb by pet magasin to help comb out what we could. The next day, all remaining ticks were found dead on their fur or on the ground and on their cots. Thank goodness. This does work. They now wear preventic flea and tick collars to help keep them away.

Works
Overall I think it works. I have 3 Huskies. They got fleas. I had to give them 2 dips over a 2 week period. Seemed to have worked or at least helped in getting the situation under control.

It works! And didn't make my dog sick!
Finally! A few years ago, I had a huge scare with the nasty chemical flea drops: they made my dog terribly sick -- so sick she had to go to the emergency vet. I vowed to never, ever again put toxic chemicals on my dog. I then switched to various natural solutions, from Diatomaceous Earth to herbal sprays to brewers yeast and garlic tablets. They helped, but only worked up until a point and required a rigorous, always-vigilant regimin to be effective at all. Then an unseasonably warm winter and summer in Southern California this year must have done something, because all of a sudden I was dealing with a full on flea infestation! I used a flea comb multiple times a day and each time would find 5-10 fleas. Ugh. The dog was miserable and my hippie dippie methods weren't doing anything. I decided to give this stuff a try and I SO, SO, SO glad I did. The flea problem disappeared after one application! Yes, really. Best of all, it didn't make her sick. I feel very comfortable with this as a good intermediate solution between the awful Frontline, etc. chemical products and the well-intentioned but not totally effective all-natural options. It's been about 3 months since I started using this. I dip my dog every 2-3 weeks and haven't spotted a flea since. She has stopped scratching and chewing on her feet completely. I also use this in conjunction with Flea Busters powder 2-3 times a year around the home as a preventative. It's worked very well for us.

Did help my dogs
I used it as instructed and it didn't help my dogs at all..I was really disappointed. We live and learn though.
