best out there
if you're looking for an E27 to B22 converter, this is it. it's thin enough to fit all my lamp fixtures unlike the bulky ones that i 1st bought that i had to sand down to fit. it's look and feel sturdy and of good quality. highly recommended

DANGEROUS - They should be withdrawn - DANGEROUS
I bought 2 packs of the B22 to E14 adapters for my 8 wall lights. On fitting them and turning the switch on the RCD at the main fuse box tripped and I saw sparks coming out of 2 of the lamps (I couldn't be watching them all!).I tested the adapters with a multimeter and found that for all 10, one of the contacts had zero resistance between it and the metal casing, meaning the casing was at live mains voltage. This cannot be a fault, but by design! You do not see this with regular B22 incandescent bulbs. Clearly the metal casing was shorting out with my metal wall lights, which are earthed, causing the sparks and RCD tripping. If you have a plastic light fitting you might get away with it, but you have a 50% (depending on which way round you insert it) chance of the metal casing being at live mains voltage so if any little fingers can touch it then death could be the result.THESE PRODUCTS ARE DANGEROUS AND I WILL BE TAKING THE MATTER UP WITH AMAZON WHO SHOULD NOT BE SELLING THEM.

Not safe for use in metal light fittings
The metal shell is NOT INSULATED from the bulb contacts. If you use this in a non-earthed metal lamp fitting then the lamp body WILL BE LIVE to the touch. If the lamp body is earthed, as it should be, then this unit creates a short circuit between the power connections and earth and will trip the circuit protection and destroy the switch. If you are using this in a non-earthed insulated fitting (ie bakelite) such as a simple ceiling pendant, then there should be no problem.
