Game ReaperMarlin 1894,1895 and 336-Medium Mount (Black, 1 inch)

Fit perfectly. Screws were correct length. Dropped the Vortex scope on, used a bore sighter to dial in at 50yd and my first 2 shots were within an inch of center. Looks strong enought to get bumped around a little. Great value.

I used this mount to install a Vortex Crossfire II scope on my Marlin 1894 rifle. The medium height was just right to provide adequate clearance for the hammer and folded buckhorn sight but still keep the scope close to the rife so my cheek is firmly against the stock when making a shot. The mount and the screws provided with it are very robust and should last the life of the rifle.

Installed a 1pc "Game Reaper" this evening on my 1971 Marlin 336 30-30. Very nicely manufactured and finished mount. POA hight and cheek weld with standard stock just about perfect for my 3x9-40 Burris Fullfield II scope. Really like the smoother cleaner lines of this mount on a lever gun because it demands less attention and leaves more of the solid block receiver showing that looks sweet on lever rifles. The saddles of the mount seemed to be perfectly in line and the scope laid in place with no decernable extra tollerances. Screw holes lined up perfect and the recommended 25 in lb torque seemed just right and tight without hint of stripping the heads at all.I think I'll be checking out DNZ for any other future builds that I'm not wanting quick detach ability on if not for the nice look than for the perfect alignment. Can't really think of a single reason not to fully recommend this product. Good clean, easy and problem free install.. Go for it!

I love these one piece base and rings, have them on other firearms. The holes always line up and the fit/finish is great. I know the company says these rings don’t need lapping…but…lap your rings. These are worth every penny and perfectly fit a Marlin 30AS and 336.

This is solid, well made, well designed. Worked great on my 1998-vintage Marlin 336W 30-30. However, be aware that this "medium" height setup actually seats your scope VERY low, which is what I wanted. I wanted a low-seated scope to facilitate easier repeatable cheek weld. I had to remove the sight blade from the rear sight apparatus when mounting this on the receiver, in order to have clearance at the front end of the scope, even while mounting my vintage Redfield Widefield "Lo-Pro" scope. That particular scope is designed to sit lower than other scopes. The advantage of that low profile scope is that, at the rear of the scope, I am able to access the hammer with my thumb, without a hammer spur extension. That is a good thing, because I could NOT find an aftermarket hammer spur extension that stayed put while at the same time not interfering with the bolt movement. If you have a scope with a normal 32mm or wider objective, you may not get away with the "medium" height mount.
