Usually a great boot! This pair was a lemon!
Have worn this same brand for years and love it but for some reason this pair was crap! I wore to work for a day and a half and the bottom tore and started coming off like they were never glued, or they were dry rotted! I messaged the company stating they were defected, and they were awesome getting another pair to me the next day. The quality of the replacement shoe was perfect! Just like the ones I am used too! I guess this pair was a lemon!!

A great, comfortable boot for a great price
These boots are amazing in every sense of the word. But before I get into way, let me preface this with a couple of things...1. I do not wear these for a living. I wear them because they offer great ankle support, are incredibly comfortable and look great with jeans, slacks and even shorts if that is your look.2. I am fortunate enough to have a Boot Barn close to me so I was able to go and try these on before buying them.3. I've only had them for a couple of days. These boots are an amazing buy for their price point. They are sturdy, high quality, comfortable and great looking shoes. They are lightweight for a work boot, they form to my fat foot like a glove, handle my weird foot/step rotation and stay secure on my foot without any movement. They are easy to get on and off and pretty much come broken in. There is nothing that I can find wrong with these boots. One thing I want to point out... I am a 12 wide. Often times that means that a 12 regular will fit me but will look like a ball trying to escape a thin sheet of wet paper because the laces will not close the shoe well enough. These are no exception. If you wear a wide shoe, buy the wide shoe. Also, these run about a half size large, so unless you plan to put insoles in these (which you don't really need to do) or you plan to wear thick wool socks (which you might need to do), buy a half size smaller than you normally wear. And if you are not used to wearing a boot over the ankle, you might want to give yourself a couple of days of wearing these around the house to get used to them. They are not like high tops... these are ankle boots and they feel like it. They are tight, secure and ungiving... all qualities you want in a quality boot. But they can take some getting used to if these aren't something you normally wear. If you do wear ankle boots normally, these shouldn't even be something you notice.Overall I would say if you are considering getting a composite safety boot, these should definitely be on your list of things to consider. They are well worth it in my opinion.

Rivet on back of eyelet digging into my ankle
First pair I bought fit too small for my regular size. Returned and went 1 size up. Second pair seemed to fit and were comfortable around the house. I wore them to work and were ok the first day but the second day I started to notice an inside rivet from an eyelet digging into my ankle. Half way through day 2 I couldn't wear them any more and went back to my old boots for the rest of the day. Day 3 I couldn't take 10 minutes in these boots, they are not going to work.I don't see anywhere to reach out to the seller to see if timberland has any kind of comfort guarantee but I can't return these as new as I've worn them about 12 hours but they are not going to work. These boots arrived just a couple days after ordering, I have no problems with the service of the seller but the boots won't work for me.I'm hoping the seller will reach out to me after seeing this review, for now I'm out $180 on boots I can't wear.

Great boot, well made. Wouldn't pay more than $110
The exterior leather isn't going to last as long as some other synthetic materials I've used from Timberland Pro, which lasted a year in an industrial/metalshop setting.I added my own anti fatigue insole over top included one which helped adjust the foot fit perfectly. They're quite comfortable, didn't require much breaking in and fit much better than other brand work shoes I've used.I got these for about $75 CAD from Warehouse Deals and it was absolutely worth it.NO CSA APPROVAL LABEL. PERHAPS INTENDED FOR AMERICAN MARKET.
