Happy Leaf

I gave this book as a special gift to my cousin for her daycare center . Children loved the colorful imaginative illustrations and really enjoyed it when older children or adults read it to them . Each page gives you reason to pause and look for the many hidden gems. I found the book very refreshing as Happy Leaf and her friends show loving respect and gratitude for everything in their case Environment. The natural world appears to mirror her sense of love and harmony with all things.A view too often missing in today’s world .It’s magical watching Happy Leaf and her friends play hide and seek among the trees that are much more than meets the eye.I highly recommend this delightful and inspiring book as it creates a beautiful feeling of connection with Mother Earth , with life and with with one another.

Simple yet profound book! Beautiful illustrations.

I was truly surprised at how much I came to love this story. It is truly an inspirational beginning for children of all ages in learning about love, gratitude, relationship with nature. The illustrations are exceptional! I would recommend this book to teachers of the young and parents of all ages...
