These ratchets are strong and will likely last a long time. Several were purchased while sorting out how to hold kayaks on a new PVC rack on a new trailer. Every time I needed more, the seller had them coming fast via Priority Mail. Highly recommended for quality and service.

Not bad does the job the rope is pretty tiny and not that strong. I have 4 and one frayed after 2 uses... does the job of holding my kayaks down I guess it just doesn’t make me feel confident if my straps on my j rack ever failed.

I love these things. I have used them for years. My son has my originals now so I replaced them. I tried some ratcheting strap things from Home Depot, but they were a real disappointment and the straps got all tangled up and I returned them.

I haven’t even used them yet. I expect they will work as expected.

I have a 12' kayak hanging on the back of a houseboat using these. They make it easy to hoist it up from the lower deck and so far they are holding up well.

Ratchet makes length adjustments a cinch. I don’t need to spend those extra few minutes to tie knots for tension. I use it to tie down my kayaks. Well constructed and inexpensive. Looking to buy a couple more of these.
