Down Jacket Repair - Self-Adhesive Repair Patches for Down Jackets & Sleeping Bags - 25 Colours

I had trouble finding a good patch kit locally that came in a variety of sizes, and seemed easy to apply. Luckily I needed a patch for a black jacket, which this company offered, and can't comment on patches for other colors. The hole on my jacket was tiny, but I knew trying to sew it would only make it worse. The small size patch covered it perfectly and is so inconspicuous that I have to look hard to see it. Although this kit originated in England, it arrived in just a few days. I felt lucky to find it.

I used these patches to repair a Land's End jacket. I first put a patch from the inside of the tear, then patched the same spot from the outside. it took several small patches to cover two tears.Four months on, all patches are holding fine.The green color was way off for my jacket, but the solution is affordable, and enables me to continue using the jacket.

I had a small burn hole on the front of my black puffer coat, and I was losing down out of the hole even though it was small. I needed something to patch it that would keep the hole from running and to keep the down inside my coat. I was nervous about using one of these right on the front of my coat, but no one has noticed it at all, and even have to check twice when I point it out.These arrived much more quickly than I expected, too.

Not only was the color of this patch not as described (not “moss green”, but a dark teal), it started peeling off a clean coat after only 3 days. It was easy to apply (just like a sticker) and the patch was sturdy, so maybe it would work as a temporary solution in an emergency, but this is definitely not an actual repair.

I bought this beautiful, very long down coat a few weeks ago and when I went to wear it for the first time I noticed two tiny holes at the bottom. I was very disappointed considering it was rather expensive and brand new. I did some research and found I could use patches to fix the problem. I was hesitant in purchasing these as I’ve read mixed reviews on color matching and durability. Anyways, I ended up getting them in dark gray and I wouldn’t say it’s a PERFECT match but it’s the closest I will get and you can’t even tell they are there unless you get super close. ALSO, the patches came off very easily for me and the adhesive is great! Haven’t tried to wash it because it’s brand new so I don’t have any input on the patches when being washed.

The mellow yellow color I ordered was a bit more acid yellow in person. I just wanted to make others who may order aware of how the color differs from the image. Mellow yellow had less orange in it than I was expecting.

At first the patches went on fine but when I ran my down coat through the wash machine they came off and feathers came out everywhere. When I contacted the merchant to see if they can send me more. They just emailed me that there were no guarantees. I won’t buy this product again. I would rather have the hole sewn .

Did not hold up in wash, down feathers came out. Great for a quick fix, but don't expect it to be a permanent solution, I had some feathers fall out and then stick to adhesive. Would love a solution that would hold up in the wash.

I bought this in January to fix a small rip in my Rab jacket. The filling kept coming out and due to the shape it wasn't possible to sew the hole. I washed the jacket first, to make sure it was clean and there wasn't any grease or oil that might interfere with the repair patch sticking and then carefully stuck one of the larger patches in position.The repair was on the sleeve and thus needed to be flexible. After carefully ensuring that the edges were firmly stuck, I left the jacket for a few hours and inspected it the next morning. Everything looked fine and the patch was firmly in position, and was thin enough to fold and crease with the jacket.Two months on and I've spent a week in the Alps with the jacket, skiing and walking, I've also used it most days here in the UK, in wind, rain and sun and the repair patch is still as good as the day I applied it. There are no signs of the edges peeling up or any problems at all. As with most things, if you prepare the job properly, these should work well.

Really glad I bought these. My Berghaus jacket got a small tear 4 or 5 years ago and it's been doing my head in ever since. Everytime I wear it I can't stop thinking about the bits of down that keep poking out. I stuck one of these on and hey presto...job done. The colour match is not perfect (not the patches fault) but it's near enough and a damn site better than the various bits of tape I've tried. Basically I've got a new coat 😁 Very happy and enough spare patches for the next 50 years!!

Was so upset when I got a small tear in my down jacket. Thought it may need replacing as wasn’t sure how to fix. These patches are perfect. Good size selection, not a bad colour match either, easy to apply and seem pretty tough. I imagine they are water resistant rather than proof but then then so is my jacket so thats fine. Tbf although I have only had to use one little patch for my jacket I now have spares for any future tears and it has saved me a small fortune not having to replace the jacket so overall value is fair enough. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for repairing my Berghaus Finsler jacket.Due to a design fault the hand pocket zip material got caught in the zip.Unfortunately, the material ripped as I tried to wrestle it out of the zip.Thought I'd have to write the jacket off as a loss but this magic repair patch kit saved the day.Additionally it's almost the same colour as the jacket material so it's hard to notice the repair inside the pocket.5 stars !

This is an excellent product. There are a variety of circle and oval sizes and it is simplicity itself to apply the patch. Just peel off the backing and stick - job done. Mine was a padded jacket and the blue colour match was good enough for it to be barely noticeable. I would recommend.
