Easy change over
No problems changing over to this new board. I just made sure the old part # was actually compatible. The labels on new board are identical to the old one and just a few are in a slightly different spot, but not far enough where old wires won't reach. My old board was corroded on my Trane XB. Works fantastic again!

Quick and easy DIY replacement
Replacing the board fixed my furnace issue. Take your time and swap one wire at a time. Also, note that the Line and Xfmr connectors were swapped on this board from my original one, so don't blindly just move the wires w/o reading the labels.

Replaced my White Rodgers 50A55-474 board
The furnace repair guy said I needed a new furnace. No power to some motor that starts up before the ignotor fires up. Anyway I have no idea what I'm doing but I do have a label machine and an Amazon Account. I labeled all the wires and replaced the circut board with this one and now my furnace works great. The picture with the white board is the one I replaced with this updated board. No idea what is updated about it. it was plug and play. Had to use some needle nose plyers to get the old board off - there are little plastic clips that hold the board on. the new board comes with new clips , I used reused the old ones since they were mounted to the furnace. I just turned off the switch to the furnace made sure it had no power comming in and replaced this in about an hour most of it was labeling the wires. This saved me almost $4,000 for a new furnace or at least bought me a little more time before I need to buy a new one. I hope this helps someone.

Possible mis-match problem?
The LINE-H and XFMR-H posts are reversed from the original board. We noticed and made the correct connections. Panel seems to work fine. A/C is working well. Thank you for shipping it quickly. The temperatures were over 100 each day the unit was out.

Igniter output voltage is 120v, not 80v
After replacing the transformer (it had been making a very loud buzz for a few months and I believe that’s what caused the board the fry) and the original White Rodgers board in my 1999 Trane XE 80, my furnace worked beautifully for about 6 weeks until the igniter burned out. From what I understand the old White Rodgers board put out 80 volts to the igniter and this new Emerson puts out 120. So if you’re going to replace/upgrade to this new board, keep in mind you should also upgrade to a 120v igniter or your original 80v igniter (if equipped) may burn out shortly thereafter.

Fits American Standard Furnace
This was an easy install for my Old American Standard Furnace. The furnace was flashing a code that it was incorrect voltage or reverse polarity installed the new board and it is working great. If you can do it yourself it beats paying $500 to have an HVAC tech out.
