Tuff Pocket-Roo Holster
I have owned this product for just over a month now. This is my first pocket holster so I wasn't sure what to expect. I carry a Taurus 85 (very similar to the J-Frame) which is quite heavy compared to today's ultra super feather weight revolvers. So far this holster has exceeded my expectations. It breaks up the main body of the revolver fairly well. The only thing you have to really worry about printing is the grip. It fits in the front pocket of my Lee's loose fit straight leg and boot cut jeans as well as my Lee's cargo shorts. I have used it in my Docker's straight leg khaki's and found that the grip seems to print more than in my jeans. I think it has to do with the difference in the pocket design.I originally purchased this primarily to use for summer carry in cargo shorts when strapping my Glock to my waist was impractical. But, I have used it to carry my Taurus as a back up several times this winter. I love the fact that it carries extra ammo with the firearm. All you have to do is grab the holster and stuff everything in one pocket, no ammo carriers to worry about. When practicing drawing my snubbie, the holster has stayed in place 99% of the time. It has come out with the gun on occasion. The material and stitching seem to be durable. The outer surface has a rough texture to it which helps keep the holster in place while the inside is smooth. I carry extra ammo in Bianchi Speed Strip which fits well in the ammo pouch. If I ever wear this holster out I will definitely buy another one. Overall, this is a great holster. If you are in the market for a pocket holster I highly recommend giving this little holster a try. At around $25.00 you almost can't go wrong.

Large pocket holster that is good quality and made in the USA
This holster holds a S&W 642 with a spare speed strip very well. My only comment is that this is a large pocket holster. The flap that holds the speed strip makes the holster more than an inch wider versus competing holsters. If your pockets are large enough for this holster, this is a great product. Please see my photos for comparisons. In my photo I have a 6 round Bianchi brand speed strip inserted, a 5 round Tuff brand speed strip would not stick out as far. The other holster in the photos for comparison is a Elite Survival Pocket Holster .The body is slightly reinforced so it doesn't close in your pocket. As stated before, it has an long wing flap to store a speed strip. Because the outside body is made of a grippy rubber and the inside is a smooth plastic, the Pocket-Roo stays in your pocket when you draw. The rubber is grippier than other holsters I've tried, which is nice to keep the holster in place. It's not clear from the photos but the bottom of this pocket holster is open, some people like this some people don't. Since the bottom is open, your barrel may be exposed to debris in your pocket. It's also worth noting this holster is made in the USA. It's great quality and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend this holster to anyone that wants to also store a speed strip with their revolver, just make sure your pockets are large enough.

Easily 5 stars in my view, a great holster
I'm going to try to hit some of the points raised in other reviews to explain why I think it's a great choice, at least for ME. I've carried a Ruger LCR .38 in one daily for quite a while now.FIT: compared to my well worn original, the fit if the revolver in the brand new holster isn't so great. But holsters needing a break in period are hardly a new thing or a flaw. When it is broken in, the gun will ride deep in the holster with the trigger guard totally enclosed. I've attached 2 photos. The tan background is the brand new holster, the white one is my original.SIZE: Yes, it's a wide holster with the speed strip holder. I'm a decent sized guy, pant size 44, and have had very few issues with my wardrobe. For smaller people, this could be a problem. Just remember to check pocket size when buying pants and try to minimize buying them sight-unseen. Ignoring my own advice, I recently ordered a pair of knockoff "tactical" pants on here that I'm hard pressed to conceal a Kel-Tec P3AT in the minuscule pockets...Since my LCR is my primary CCW, not a backup, carrying at least one reload seems like a better idea than not. This holster is an ideal way to do it, if concealability is of prime concern. Strips provide a decently quick reload, WITH PRACTICE. A couple packs of snap-caps would be highly recommended as well to practice reloads with.

Great all-in-one carry solution.... if you have big pockets.
I've been carrying a j-frame revolver for many years, and started carrying it in this holster a few months ago. Previously I had been using a Desantis Nemisis for that purpose, which is a bit smaller. Others have complained that this holster is too large for a typical pocket, and I could see that. I wear 44x36 pants, however, and for me it works well - keeping the gun and holster firmly and properly positioned in the pocket. The other draw is the extra ammo containment. It holds 5 or 6 rounds on a speed strip with just the right retention, so when I pull it out of my closet safe everything is right there and ready to drop in the pocket. As a lefty, I like having the whole thing in my left pocket anyway, since reloading involves moving the gun to my right hand to open the cylinder anyway. In general, if you are a big guy or like carrying in a cargo pocket or jacket pocket, this is a great choice.

Great holster if it fits your pocket.
It's a great little pocket holster, that fits my pistol beautifully. It cradles the gun without sticking, but it does hold to the pocket, so the gun slides out of holster and pocket easily. It holds the gun at the right angle so you don't have to worry about it sliding around in your pocket. It also hides the shape of the gun so you just show a lump to the outside world. It does just what it should and does it wonderfully. The only quibble that keeps me from giving it more stars is that the addition of the strip clip pocket means it won't fit any of my pants except cargo shorts. I had to purchase the version without the strip clip pocket to fit my usual jeans and khakis slacks. Tuff Pocket-Roo Holster, J Frame LCR 340PD GL2627 (Size 10)
