RocklandQuilt Hardside Expandable Spinner Wheel Luggage, Red, 3-Piece Set (20/24/28)

I purchased a luggage set from Rockkand before and was happy with it so I decided to give this one a try. The luggage looks just like the picture, the protective film was easy to pull off, and the exterior and interior are well made. I just put the carry on to use over the weekend through a very busy airport and it held up great and the wheels made it smooth sailing to navigate the airport both inside and outside. I’m happy with this purchase and the deep red color is absolutely beautiful with the coordinating wheels.

I’ve had my set for about a year and the carry on has traveled at least 30 flights. It’s held up extremely well. It’s gorgeous and very roomy, not expandable but surprisingly this hasn’t bothered me. I never have to worry about cramming it into the overhead because it slides right in every time. About to purchase two more sets for my kids!

Nice looking luggage. Took a gamble on the blue as there were no pictures of what the blue would actually look like but I love it!

Bought this for my mom, and I stuff this suite thinking it would have burst out on us but trust me, it did the job well on a international flight

First of all, the luggage comes wrapped in a plastic film that took me 2hours to get off, had to use an exacto knife around corners and edges to remove. Once off, luggage shines beautifully. Very cute set (I get a few compliments in the airpots when people see them) but not well made. Very thin plastic shell, wheels cute but too small for luggage to maneuver smoothly, if luggage is packed to the max it tips over when trying to roll. Ive taken all three pieces on two trips now, by the second trip, on arrival the smallest luggage, the plastic around wheel was busted after I checked it under the plane. These also do not expand or have a tsa lock. If you want cute luggage, go for it, if you want luggage that's going to last and be reliable I'd look elsewhere.

I chose these because the reviews were pretty good and it was a nice looking set. Unfortunately the plastic coating ruins the looks because you can't get it off of all areas. I spent hours with tweezers trying to remove it. I also used an old credit card as a scraper which helped a little but I wrecked my nails AND my tweezers and still can't get it all off. Don't have much confidence that they will stay shiny if they had to be covered like that just for shipping.The case seems like flimsy plastic as are the handles, the zippers don't zip very smoothly; and it is NOT expandable as the description says. They aren't roomy, I filled the largest with quilts etc. just to test the wheels, it was packed full and only weighed 29 pounds. The one good thing I can say is that the wheels did move easily with that weight, although I wonder how they will do with heavier items. This was NOT what we were expecting as we thought Rockland was a good and dependable brand. I'm concerned on how these will hold up going through airlines, guess we'll be bringing duct tape along on our next trip for emergency fixes. Don't recommend these at all.

I was very nervous to purchase this luggage set due to the number of people that have had trouble with the plastic protective film. I can say for sure that the plastic did not go under the hardware or wheels on any of the three suitcases that came in this set. I was pleasantly surprised that it took me less than 5 minutes to completely remove all of the film.When I first purchased, the largest suitcase was crushed on one corner. I processed the return, and it took less than 2 days to receive my replacement in perfect condition. I have not used the luggage yet, but I am very excited to. It is a more candy apple red than the pictures would leave you to believe, but personally I think this color is even better than the wine red.
