Like some other people who purchased this dog water bottle, I loved it at first. The design really is ingenious. It is handy to be able to dispense water for my dog at the touch of a button and then return unused water back to the well using that same button. We don't use ours every day but when we need it, this is a great tool.Then, for no discernible reason, the water would not dispense no matter how hard I pushed the button. I don't know what broke on it but it stopped working. It's like there was an airlock or something. If I shook the bottle while pressing the button I could get little bits of water to come out but that got so frustrating that I just opened the bottle and poured the contents into the decoupled bowl. I contacted the seller about this issue and s/he sent me a new one immediately. Honestly, I was really impressed with the service. Thank you.I do have one design suggestion: It would be great if you put a small flat spot on the back of the dish. The reason for this is so the bottle doesn't roll away when my dog drinks out of it on the ground or bumps it a little. Otherwise, this is a clever and useful device.

We hike often with our dog and recently bought this water bottle and wow this has been a game-changer with the way that we hike with our dog! It makes things SO much easier to give him water! I was the one who bought this but even after a hike my husband too made a comment while giving our dog water with this by saying "this is so awesome!" No more digging through our day packs to find his water bowl. No more fumbling with a lid to get his water bowl open and sometimes he won't even drink his water during water breaks on hikes. No more leaks with his water dish in our packs. This is such a game-changer and I love how it has the slide button to keep the water in and it also saves the rest of the water that he doesn't drink. Genius product!

So glad to finally have this and not have to carry around a separate water bottle and (collapsible) bowl for my pup. Where I can wait to drink water until I get back from a 30 minute walk in the Texas heat, my short snout Japanese Chin can't even go 10 minutes before it looks like he's going to collapse and after 20 minutes I end up having to carry him back home. This water bottle is perfect; holding the right amount water for him so we can both get a 30 minute walk in, and allowing me to be hands free as it can hang from my wrist. I don't know if it's available but a smaller bottle would probably work great too as it some what bulky and I use it mainly for brief those daily walks and not long hikes.

Purchased similar item through a different make/company but it wasn't leakproof as advertised nor did the lock button work. i returned that one and bought this to hopefully find something my dog loves. this was perfect and works just as advertised.My dog drank out of it as soon as I put it in front of her. She's usually picky about what her water or food is served in. but with this, she took a liking to it right away. previously, i would have this water bottle that had a wider lid that i would use to give her water. she wouldn't use anything else. but it was still a bit narrow, so when she drank out of it, she squeezes her snout in to reach the water. the trench on this bottle is the perfect size for her to drink from, no effort needed.Lock feature is great for when walking or traveling. it doesn't leak out.leak proof works well and does not leak from sides when you are giving your pets the water to drink.

This water bottle looks nice and sturdy, is easy to use with one hand, and holds enough water for my mid-sized dog on our daily walks. But I was so disappointed when the bottle stopped releasing water after about 6 months of frequent use.Since a number of other reviewers have also stated that the water no longer dispenses, I’m guessing there is a design flaw in the product. After fiddling with it for a bit, it appears to me that the mechanism which allows air into the bottle is no longer working, thus creating a vacuum that prevents the water from coming out. Unfortunately, I was unable to figure out how to fix it.I emailed the seller about a replacement and was pleasantly surprised to get a quick email response, and even more surprised when a replacement bottle arrived just four days after I sent the email! Now that’s customer service! Thank you SZITR Store!I’m crossing my fingers that the replacement bottle lasts longer, or that someone can figure out how to fix the problem and posts the instructions.

My dog is afraid of running water, hates drinking out of portable bowls, and refuses to drink if I’m trying to get him to sip from a water bottle (he’s a bit of a diva, apparently). No matter how hot he gets, he pants away instead of drinking if we’re not at home. Some guy at a dog park had this and for whatever reason my pup couldn’t get enough. I ordered it as soon as I got back to my car, and after one trip out to the park today I’m already a satisfied customer. Today was the first time he’s hydrated at the park after playing (we live in Florida so the heat is an issue always). I only wish I had ordered the larger size because I had to refill it 4 times (He’s a Great Dane so it’s completely my bad that I ordered the wrong size). Super portable, convenient, user friendly. Great solution to my diva Dane problem.

So far this water bottle had been great for my two new pups. They immediately both drank from the little well once they realized there was fresh water. I purposely purchased one that you could empty the water back in to the bottle for cases where you couldn't just dump it out. It does leave a few drops in the cup, but not bad. I only have one small complaint, and that is that the bottle itself is quite wide and only fits in very large cup holders. Good for bringing plenty of water along, bad for having no where to put it. I do have it attached to the string, but then it's banging around and I don't want it to break. It's been very handy since I bring my pups everywhere.

Simple easy to use. No wastage of water if my dog doesn't want a long drink. Simple, tip it up and it pours back into the bottle. No fuss. I've had NO leaks as yet, i cannot fault it.
