Great Without HDR
I was impressed with this monitor and its colors when I first got it. Even more so with its hdr. However after a year of using it I almost never use the hdr now as I've noticed it's just a reshading and usually doesn't look better than normal SDR. It tends to look moreso washed out.The height adjustable stand is great giving you plenty of variety to viewing angles. And viewing the monitor from the side looks almost as good as viewing in the middle. The headset rest on the back left is a nice touch, but I never utilized it.An annoying factor is you can't have 10 bit color and hdr. 10 bit is locked to display port, while hdr is locked to hdmi ports. After a few weeks to a month of using this monitor I noticed that the screen was faulty with three sections in the middle being lit differently. This didnt bother me too much when gaming or watching something, but it was noticeable when turning the camera in a game or sitting still.I would say despite the issues listed this is still a great 32 inch monitor with superb viewing angles, and the colors still look great for a VA panel. Just forget about the HDR mode.I've since moved to a 28 inch Samsung monitor with much better hdr implementation and colors in general are much prettier. Although I do miss that height adjustment stand.

Excellent Monitor
PROS:* The price. $355 for a 32" UHD monitor with FreeSync, 10-bit color, a rotating height-adjustable stand, and a VA panel is not too shabby. (I recently came from an Acer B286HK. So the loss of a sturdy rotating stand would have been a bummer)* Excellent colors, deep blacks, great viewing angles thanks to the VA panel, plenty of customizations possible for personal preference via the OSD. Fire up a good high-bitrate sample video and your eyes will light up in glee.* The unboxing & packaging really stuck out to me. The monitor is securely packed into the box, and is only held in by two pieces of styrofoam. When you open the box, you can take out the cables and stand's base immediately. Flip the box upside down, remove the bottom piece of foam, and you can easily tilt the bottom of the stand toward you to attach the base before the monitor ever fully leaves its foam packing. Once the base is on, then you can fully stand the monitor up, then slide the other half of foam packing off. This was by far one of the easiest, cleanest unboxing & setup processes I've had with a monitor in quite some time.CONS:* The only non-HDMI 2.0 connectivity on this set is a single DP 1.2 port. No USB hub, no DP over USB Type-C, no additional DP port at all for daisy-chaining, etc.* Onboard speakers are garbage, but let's be honest, what monitor does this not apply to?OTHER:* The set has a 3-year warranty per the included documentation. I didn't see it listed for this item on Amazon's listing at the time I purchased it. So just a heads up.* If you saw my review before the edit about the right half of the screen randomly blanking out when using FreeSync via a recently-supported Nvidia card, that appears to have been a known driver bug with version 417.71, Nvidia driver incident #200484819: "With G-SYNC enabled, after hot-plugging a G-SYNC display and then a GSYNC Compatible display, the right half of the G-SYNC Compatible display may go blank." I can confirm that this issue went away with driver version 418.81 and higher.

Avoid Acer. Stops working after a couple months, then costs more to send it to them for repair
This monitor stopped working 4 months into use. I tried to go through Acer for a warranty claim, which they would honor, but they require you to pay to ship the monitor to them. Shipping costs 3x what I paid for the monitor. Going to try a local monitor repair, because even if they mess it up, I won’t be any worse off. Extremely disappointed with Acer and will not be purchasing any Acer products anytime soon.

4K Monitor Par Excellence
This is my first ACER product and I must say that the Acer ET322QK 4K monitor exceeded all my expectations. Perfect for programming, work, gaming, or general, every day use. The engineers at ACER have created something special here and I'll be buying more products from this company in the foreseeable future. Far superior to my experience with Samsung and ASUS, which are adequate but not on the same level of design or functionality. I'd give it 6 stars if i could. Thank me later.

Still works great after 20 months
I bought this monitor in Oct 2018. I was pleased with it then, and I'm pleased with it now. No problems, ever. I have it connected to my two MacBook Pro laptops (one for work, one for personal), works like a champ. The display is nice and bright and oh so crisp. As an experiment, I purchased a top-rated (with all the right specs) 4k TV and tried it out as a monitor. No go. Text was not crisp enough. One review says it "wakes up like a bear" - yes this is true. If your laptop shuts down the display when it goes to sleep or just in power-saving mode, it does take several seconds for the display to come back. This is not a big deal for me.If and when this monitor dies, I'm ordering another - or a similar available model - same day.

Awesome Stand / Subpar Performance
Cons:Colors are very washed out and dull, almost monochromatic. Spent nearly an hour changing the settings and ended up having to crank the brightness, contrast, and gama up to nearly maximum, to get to the same settings that my other monitors are at, which are only set around 55% brightness. FreeSYNC was causing stuttering on this monitor while my other model was fine.Pros:Best adjustable stand ever, can raise, lower, and rotate to get the perfect angle for users of any height.Verdict:2/5 Stars - Returning Item
