I don’t even care that the material was plastic, was just confused as to why there was no mechanism to keep the tissue inside. Very disappointed with this purchase. Don’t let the picture fool you. There is a better tissue box than this.

Kleenex boxes have oval cut outs to pull tissue out. This hole is round. Kleenex rips when pulled through

You get what you pay for- This tissue box looks cheap! Plastic is stark white and the gold trim at the bottom doesn't accent it at all- it doesn't even go together. Will keep it because I hate returning things- but it's not a winner!

This tissue cover is beautiful. I have the mDesign soft brass one as well and almost prefer this one because unlike the other, it doesn't collect a visible layer of dust on top.

It looks good, the square tissue boxes fit perfectly, but the material is very light, which makes it very easy to slide around and fall off the end table I have it sitting on. It's not a huge deal breaker, but the other ones I've purchased had more heft to them. The white and gold matches the other stuff on the end table, so it works and blends in. I might try putting little rubber pads on the corners so it doesn't slide as easily.

Looks great! Bottom doesnt have enclosure so if you move you have to pick up tissue box too

My original review is below but I am editing this because the seller reached out to address my concerns. That means a lot in the world of Amazon where things can go unnoticed and no one cares. I am still not a fan of the gooey sticker on the side BUT this group showed they cared enough to offer to replace the item. I am going to keep the original. I like the look of the tissue box but there is no way to keep the kleenex in if you pick it up, and the sticker on the side is large and gooey. It won't come off even with Goo-Gone. I wish I would have at least known about the sticker on the side.

I had ordered less expensive tissue holders. They were white but had a dull finish. This one is shiny white and the shiny brass around the bottom is great looking

This was larger than I expected. I also found that any time I pulled up a tissue the whole thing would lift. It’s now just sitting under the bed. It’s pretty but not a product I would recommend.
