The picture is showing the mattress after an hour and pleasee note that part of the height is tucked inside the ikea bed so not showing full height.I would say it is as I would imagine it to be. It does have a chemical odour which is normal for most foam mattress so it needs time to air and also get used to.As it says it is extra firm it is quite close to sleeping on the floor apart from it is not hard to your bones! I feel like I do not pratically need a pillow. I would say it is great for sleeping on your back.

Excellent mattress, very comfortable. Delivery not so great - given how large an item this is someone has to be indoors to accept it (Cant leave it on the doorstep!) and it was "Out For Delivery" and "Expected by 9PM" for five days! That's five days someone had to be indoors waiting for it.This is about the delivery firm not the mattress firm, but it is a terrible reflection that they choose this delivery company and I would suggest they reconsider.

This was the second mattress I purchased I ordered one memory sprung that was far to soft and was making my back pain worse, so after lots of searching I saw all the good reviews on this and was a good price ( because I had just previously bought one didn’t then have much money left) so this was a good price and was described as “firm”! Well I can tell u that it’s not firm it’s soft! Very upset as I’m stuck with it now and cannot afford another. It’s quite lightweight and actually looks look a well put together mattress but it’s not a advertised. Also it only inflated to 21cm even though I left it to air in a ventilated room for 24hr, and only had it a month and it’s starting to “sink” where I sleep ( I’m only 11 stone) I’ve had to purchase a egg box type mattress topper 3” memory foam to harden it up, that’s offered some relief but shouldn’t have to do that! So all in all it’s bn a stressful costly business and I’m now saving for another, I have chronic pain especially in lower back and hips and this has made it worse I wake in the night because I’m in such discomfort and arm and legs go numb, so for anybody with pain issues I definitely would never recommend this mattress!

Great mattress, excellent value for money and really comfortable. I was looking to buy a mattress with no springs, that didn't cost the earth and was comfy but had no luck after purchasing 2 other memory foam mattresses and returning them because they were too firm and thin.I then did some research and came across this mattress. It seemed too good to be true, latex and memory foam, thick, not too firm, yet not too soft and only £135? I thought I'd give it a go and try it, third time lucky!The mattress arrived quickly and I tested it out, the material seemed expensive and high quality for the price I paid and as one of the other reviewers said it could easily sell for 3 times the price in a retail store.I can say that 2 months later I've been sleeping well every night and it is one of the most comfiest mattresses I've ever slept on, my only complaint is it's really difficult to get out of bed in the morning! 10/10, would highly recommend. I bought this mattress over a year ago and have slept on it every night since. Previously I had back pain every morning from my old mattress, brought on by motherhood and exacerbated by the old mattress. I looked for a long time for a firm, yet comfortable, mattress within my fairly limited budget that would help soothe the back pains and generally provide comfort for me and my young daughter as we bed share. This mattress was a brilliant decision. It is so comfortable that I can sleep in any position and it supports me fully whilst being comfortable and cosy. My back pain went away immediately and has stayed away. i have always liked a firm mattress. This one is the best and I recommend.

Update: 4 months later, still LOVING it, and sleeping better than ever!Original review: We looked around for a year. We've been tempted by those that offer 100 day trials and so on, but those mattresses cost hundreds of pounds. Then we started to get desperate and needed something urgently, and for a reasonable price. Little did I know that we would stumble on the best night's sleep I have had for many, many years. I've been falling asleep easily, and waking early and refreshed. If you are looking around for a quality product at amazing value for money, look no further.Footnote: I had a question for the seller which I sent on the Friday afternoon, and they replied first thing Monday morning with the information I needed. It wasn't 100% clear to me which side of the mattress was the winter side, and which the summer. As I suspected, they have confirmed that the side with the mesh is for summer use, and the padded side is for winter use.

Bought for my 11 year old son. Very firm, comfortable and good value for money. Could maybe do with an extra mattress topper but really only because you see the mattress pattern through the sheet. Son has no complaints. I find when I sit on the edge it sinks down a fair amount after a few minutes so assume it might do so if I were to sleep on it. But I haven’t so can’t say for sure. (I’m relatively heavy, but my son is of average weight).

Mattress received was 8 cm longer and not the best choice for our needs (too soft, the purchase was based on the non-standard sizing), but the seller is very responsive and their customer service is excellent.
