Samdal Elderberry Bush - Sambucus - Large Berry Clusters - 3.25" Pot

Worried that might not survive, came very spindly/half dead/dry, looks like it might recover. 3 stars for slight disappointment. May change this review if it bounces back.Update 2017: The one remaining stalk bounced back and is thriving beautifully. No infections or problems.Update 2018: Extra pic, getting bigger!Update: 2019: Extra pic, replanted in new location because was getting crowded. Still getting bigger/stronger/robust.

I was happy with receiving my dormant plant. It came with a little growth on it in which I didn't even expect for this time of year (January). I would have given it a five stars if it came with planting instructions and care. I personally know what to do however I could see this potentially being an issue with other people first starting out. It was nice to see a insert explaining the plant being dormant but it did not give any instructions. I'm very satisfied with the plant health overall. I had a bad experience with buying cuttings from a local person in the roots not being developed properly resulting in and stressed out plant. These Elderberry plants that I received from this company had excellent excellent root growth. 👍 I will buy again if I need more.

I just received it. It is a very small plant in a very bad shape. I planted it, but I am sure it wont make it. Not a product I can recommend to anyone to buy.

Planted these in the fall. Now March is here and they are putting out new leaves like crazy! Great buy.

I bought 5 plants and they arrived in good condition. All lived and are healthy. I am anxious for them to mature and have fruit. We might buy more later!

I liked it And would order again.

Received the plants on time they are all doing very well I broke one taking it out of the package and even that one is doing very good.
