Came in exactly as advertised. It’s a little pricey, but completely worth it. It has a plugged drainage hole in the bottom that’s rubber. You can easily take it in and out. I simply put mine on a saucer, unplugged the drainage hole, so when I water, the water can slide out and collect the saucer pan.It’s very sturdy, strong, and the color does look black almost like matte black metal. It’s nonreflective. It looks great and modern. If you purchase a saucer pan for underneath it, you need one that’s 2 inches larger than the planter. The reason for this is because most plant pots are 12 inches on the top, but they get slimmer in the bottom.Beyond that. Packaging was great, delivery was rapid and it looks really nice. It has some way to it so it feels high-quality.

This is a great, lightweight piece with a creative design detail that surprised me. I chose the version with the saucer. In one of the photos, it looks like the saucer is of a larger diameter than the pot, as plant saucers usually are. Instead, the saucer slots inside the bottom perimeter of the pot, allowing for drainage but maintaining the clean lines of a saucerless pot. Love it.

Love how easy this is to fill the base with water and not have to worry about it. I love the look of the white. I bought one 2 years ago and another this week. Very classy and functional

I purchased two of these 12" planters approximately 7 months ago. Both arrived safely in very well -packed boxes. I also purchased planter stands. The contemporary/modern look I wanted was achieved.I did not plant directly into these planters, based on other reviews. So, they have remained clean. It's quite easy for me to take out the plastic pots and clean and transplant them as necessary. When moving the planters around the room, I really appreciate the lightness and sturdiness of them. All-in-all, they are worth the rather high price I paid. I did find a card from the seller in the box stating they would give a 20% gift card in exchange for an online review. Given the time elapsed since my purchase, I could be surprised if a gift card is forthcoming. In any case, I will likely purchase one or more of these planters.

Shortly before we were ordered to stay home from Covid-19, I was in Lowes and spotted a beautiful Fiddle Leaf plant. On a whim I decided to buy it knowing I had nothing at home to repot it but figured there would be time for that. After we were all asked to stay-at-home and I found I had more time on my hands I started looking. I looked everywhere online...target, wayfair, lowes, home depot and, of course, amazon. That is where I found fox and fern and was so impressed with the quality, look, options, and pricing. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews that said the pot arrived cracked, the stand's stain was splotchy, etc. However, most reviews with unhappy customers also mentioned the exceptional customer service so I went ahead and placed an order for a white, matte finished 12" pot and walnut finished stand. They both arrived in perfect condition and absolutely beautiful. The pot could fit either way, was super easy to assemble and I couldn't be happier. Also, the spot where my plant now lives is carpeted which also made me nervous with a stand like this since ALL the pictures online of this type of stand is on hardwood, tile, etc. My stand is sturdy on carpet and I am not in the least bit concerned of it toppling over. Thank you for providing such a great product and making my small little space so much better especially when the world is upside down right now. "

I really like this pot, and the tall Fox & Fern stand I got to go with it... however, there is a lot of marketing to suggest that they offer some kind of discount if you buy both, and after hours of trying -- by entering the codes you see on the product page and trying to get in touch with support -- I found none of the codes worked, and nobody seemed interested in delivering on the discounts their marketing promises. I also received a card with my purchase advertising a free mini fox and fern stand and pot for sending in a photo of my plant setup, and when I followed the url provided I found it connected to no such offer. It's hard to tell if they mean well but have poorly-designed/disorganized marketing, or if these things were always intended to be empty and sort of scammy... but either way I found the experience of trying to take advantage of the offers they heavily promote to be frustrating and ultimately fruitless. That said, I really like Fox and Fern's products... they're on the expensive side, but I've tried several cheaper versions of the mid-century modern plant stands and pots and never liked any others better. The plant stands in particular are really worth the extra money: unlike other brands, they have a smart design that makes assembly really easy (you'll see what I'm talking about when you go to fit it together) and doesn't require you to use screws. This makes storage and assembly easy. Also, I'm not sure why, but most mid-century modern plant stands have legs that are kind of fat for some reason... they never look as sleek and authentically mid-century as these. The pots are VERY lightweight, which I found disappointing at first... but for bigger plants, this makes watering and relocating easy. The plug on the bottom of the pot is great with the plant stands (the tall one especially), because you can access it without having to lift the plant up at all.

Bellissimo design, semplice, ma non troppo.

Der Übertopf ist leicht aber stabil. Er glänzt nicht, sondern ist matt. Ich habe ihn in groß und meine Pflanze sieht darin super aus.

I received one with a chip. In the end I bought some more white pots, from a competing brand. They were cheaper but look just as good if not better.
