This balaclava is everything I wanted/needed it to be. I bought this for walking outdoors during very cold snowstorms where my ears & nose are freezing from the icy wind & the snow is getting in my eyes. This serves that purpose perfectly. The inside is completely lined in soft, plush, faux fur that is incredibly soft and warm. it is just thick enough to keep out the cold but still be breathable. (Having said that, it is still of course difficult to breathe with thick fabric over your nose & mouth, so I really only use the lower half mid-snowstorm & pull it down as a neck covering the rest of the time) I was initially worried about the face covering getting stretched out from being pulled up and down, so that it wouldn't stay up anymore after a while, but so far, I haven't had a problem with that & I've been using it for over a month. So far, It still fits snugly around my face when I need it to. I am able to set it up so there is only a little slit for my eyes during storms and the fabric is thick enough that it catches the snowflakes before they reach my eyes. Love it.

It is a must have for me. It keeps my ears, neck, and face so warm and cozy and protect it from the cold winds when I go on a bike run. My ears tend to get very cold to the point where it would hurt so this is something I cannot be without if I want to be outside longer.

I ordered this hat for our cold northeast Ohio weather. The hat itself has a soft toasty lining so it's like wearing two hats. The attached neck piece eliminates the need for a scarf. Plus it can be pulled up over the nose to protect your face or pulled down. Either way it keeps the neck warm. I started wearing it on the day it arrived for my daily walk in freezing temperatures and it performed very well.

This item is perfect if you don’t want the bulk of a neck scarf. I highly recommend washing it (after determining you’re not returning it) as there is a bit of an odor and there’s some loose fluff or fibers that are easily inhaled if you wear it over your mouth and nose. Otherwise, it’s perfect for what I wanted.

No dislike, a trip to Iceland.

This hat was very pretty and very warm, but the piece that comes up to cover your mouth does not come up as far as it looks in the picture it barely covers your mouth and slides down, and then the fuzz from around the hat gets into your mouth and sticks to your Lip moisturizer and your practically eating it. for that reason I will only give it three stars

This product was of very good quality. It fits well, there are neat seams, no unraveling, excellent material and craftmanship. Quite cozy and warm wearing this one.

I love this hat because it is a combination of a hat and scarf, meaning there is an attached neck covering that keeps my neck warm. I don't have to use a separate scarf and in addition, the scarves I have worn in the past, often slip off while I'm walking so that periodically I have to wind it around my neck again. This just stays on. The only drawback to this hat/scarf is that the hat sometimes slips upward so that my ears are partially exposed. What I would like ideally is for there have been ties for the hat so that I might tie it to stay where I want it. Conceivably I could add ties but I don't know where to get ties separate from hats. Any suggestions?

Great idea and very warm. A little annoying because your hair has to go under it, but for some that won't be a deal breaker. Came with a pretty strong chemical smell, but besides that, keeps me warm and don't need to carry hat and scarf now.

The hat that I have received has so aggressive body odor at the neck part. When I tried that I and my husband next to me realized what the smell was. So gross and unacceptable!
