FenderAmerican Performer Stratocaster - Satin Lake Placid Blue with Maple Fingerboard

This is my first proper Fender American made Stratocaster. I've always bought affordable guitars, and been happy, but always found myself making a modification or 2 to make them more comfortable to play or get the sound I wanted. This guitar is the first that I wouldn't change anything, the finish, the neck, everything is just perfect out of the box. The pictures of the Lake Placid Blue don't actually do it justice, this guitar will have you smitten not only with it looks, but it's amazing sound.

I'm basically a beginner and have owned a couple of Mexican made Strats including the Deluxe and Player Series along withe a Telecaster copy and an Epiphone. This is such a huge leap in quality and ease of use that I am never looking back. The features and build quality are superb. The only thing that I wish it was equipped with are locking tuners although I do like the vintage tuners it came with. All in all, Bravo Fender!

I couldn't be happier with the sound, the look or the feel. This guitar is everything I was hoping for, and more. Well worth the price of it being built it America, they put their best parts in and have a close eye for detail. Squiers are very well made instruments, but this is top notch.

Great guitar. I love the look and sound. The quality is obvious. The satin finish looks and feels great and the lake placid blue beautiful. It's easy to play, and I can't seem to put it down. I'm totally satisfied.

Great quality! I was wondering if it would be a worthy step up from my Squier and I am not disappointed.
