It works and fits properly.
I used this to modify my Bafang BS02 midmount E-Bike controller. I wanted a more linear pedaling effort than what came with the stock setting. This cable is required to connect between your computer and the Bafang controller connector (where the display usually connects to). I had no issues during the programming of the controller. YouTube has a bunch of videos showing you how to use it and where to get the software. I happened to watch the video by Luke to figure mine out.

Must-have for BBSHD owners
No, seriously. This thing is great.It lets you take a laptop computer and program the BBSHD, or flash different firmware if you're so inclined. It''s a must-have if you use displays other than an eggrider, or want to flip between different battery voltages. The stock programming isn't bad, but there's a lot of personal taste to how fast it goes, power ramp, etc.This cable also plays nice with USB extensions, so if you need a bit more length - fear not

Worked as intended
Worked no problem. Was easy to get the application and programming settings off of the web to fine tune the motor. The cord is short so I would suggest getting a USB extension cord with this if you are hooking it up to a desktop as it could prove difficult to maneuver your bike over to your USB ports. If you’re working off a laptop you should be fine.

The Programming Cable worked as expected.
This is the tool you need if you want to confirm or change the settings on a Bafang mid-drive motor.The procedure to make custom programming changes requires research and understanding of the settings. There is a wealth of information of the process on the internet. I was able to adjust the settings a bit to have the motor provide a little less assist for the needed bicycle touring needs. The factory settings seemed to be set to support more 'trail riding'.

exactkt what i needed for by BBSH02
Got the maximum performance out of my 750W 25 W mid drive kit. Able to hit over 35mph with pedal assist easy by reprogramming. Recommend thoroughly researching HOW TO PROGRAM BAFANG before doing anything yourself. Lunacycles has great information on their webpage.

Worked perfectly!
A must have item if you want to program your Bafang powered electric bike. Connected to bike and computer and was able to easily reprogram my ebikes settings. Got rid of the speed limiter and adjust all settings to my liking. Highly recommend!
