Carver's Art Medium Olive Wood Nativity Set 12 pcs with 3-D Animals

My husband and I were given a set just like this many many years ago and it is a treasured part of our Christmas tradition. I wanted my youngest grandchildren, two and four, to have the same experiences my own children had growing up - of getting out the nativity and setting it up, and moving the animals and people around each day as they wanted. This is a great nativity for anyone who wants something beautiful yet simple that is safe for children to handle.

This was a Christmas gift. My friend loved this nativity scene. Small and easy to box up for storage.

The figures are not the size indicated in the description, so it is too small for my purposes. I returned the product and received my refund.

Pieces are primitive, but as advertised. One of the"gifts" (a wooden bead) fell off soon after I received the set, but it was easily glued back in place.

I love it. I think more people need to put out a nativity set during Christmas. And it is very special to have it come from the Holy Land and to be carved by Christians there.

I bought this as a present for my mother who collects nativity sets. She loved it. Masterfully crafted, the details were rustic enough to make it look artisan instead of machine made.

The figures were just the right size for a creche built by my father-in-law many years ago. The original figures had been lost. We are delighted.
