Great metal target holders
It's easy to put together and hang on a tee post. Stands up to my 45-70 with shooting it over and over. I now have six of these.

After thousands of centerfire and rimfire rounds..... GOOD PRICE, GREAT for catching lead frags!
I've now put up around six of these around the acres and backstops. i love how they throw back the ammo. I have filmed/GoPro-ed a 357 168gr round at 80yard from 18" away from impact.... and the spring action was pretty cool on cam.the best part, if you have a leaf blower or something to lay underneath your target and you fish or use lead, you can save a lot. the one mai issue i've found, most of what i throw at AR500's mounted on these, the largest piece i can find laying on ground couple feet away is about a 12gr-15gr piece off tip of a 148gr RoundNose!!! So the spring and angle, it works well! And as for bend or messed up T-Posts, i saw people compaining. get your side grinder out or a simple file, use some ChineseMade elbow grease, and MODIFY the top of bent tPost...i havent found a beat up old chunk that wont work. Also, take your chainsaw, plunge cut into a stump/old growth and chopsaw/torchcut a tPost to fit your height requirements.i use thee target hanger mounts on as little as 12" section of old trashed Tpost that got ran over by brush hog...oopsie.happy shooting...and you will enjoy these for thousands of smiles!

Works good, last long time.
Works good, very precise fit to standard t-post. After hammering into the ground the rolled edges of the post caused a intererence fit, which is preferred in a certain way. After hammering the hangar onto the post it had flared the back end with the hook upwards a little out of shape, no problem. Extra bolt supplied fit in the back hole which I used to hang a chain between 2 posts with seperste hangars. Chain fits in the gap of the hangar, and the bolt tightened the hangar to the post. No play, strong metal on strong metal. Shot a few hundred rounds, no issues at all. I was able to make it work the way I needed and it performed. It hangs, it supplements a chain to hang a center gong. Does alot for what I put into it. Got my money's worth on one use and i dont see it failing any time soon.

Great Simple Way to Hang Steel
I run a public gun range in CT, and have tried a wide variety of target hangers. This Champion Target Hanger is the best way I have found to date. It provides three different ways to use: hook, carriage bolt/spring/nut, or chains through the holes. I use the carriage bolt/spring/nut method and it works perfectly. The target is held securely and provides protection for the mounting system. One reviewer stated it won't fit on a T-post (even a new one), but I have never encountered that problem. If the top of the T-post is bent or deformed, there may be an issue; but on a new or undamaged post, no problem. These won't work on U-posts, so you have to be specific at the Big Box Hardware store (they tried to sell me U-posts). I strongly recommend this system.

Doesn't fit most t-posts out of the box
I looked at my local hardware store, every single t-post had a bent up end on it. This target hanger will not fit on any of them without some grinding or cutting. The cut-outs are just too narrow. Once I used my angle grinder on the t-post it fit fine, but not as I bought it. If I was going to cut down the t-post, that would also work. Next time I will spend more and get one of the box-shaped clamp-on target hangers. All that said, the quality of the hanger is fine. Once I got the post back to "spec" everything worked.

Fit on a standard T-Post
Fit on a standard t-post.Warning, if the t-post isn't straight or heavily rusted, it can be a little tough getting the champion 44102 onto the post. If its a nice clean post, this fits like a glove.Edit: a couple months (and few thousand rounds) since my original review and this target holder is still holding strong!

Tight tolerance
The design is a good one with the exception of the T Post tolerance. If it were a little less tight it’d be a great design. If there’s any deformation on top of the t post from driving it into the ground it makes the fitment of the hanger a little of a hassle, and for this reason I can’t give it a fifth star.

Not good out the box
So right out the box they dont fit t-posts. I had to grind out the slots in order for it to sit on a t-post. Not all t-posts are created equal and after pounding them in the ground the tips of the posts can get a little warped. Even from the store t posts are not perfect. Only after grinding at the slot it does it fit somewhat. Next time ill pay a few bucks more for something that works out the box. Included a pic of box style t-post hanger that I currently use. 100% better then the champion. Save yourself time and headache and just get a box style t post hanger. Especially if you you take your own stuff to a public range. If you have your own property that you can leave the targets on I guess it would work but you will still need to put in the work to get them to fit on a t-post. Not really worth it to me.
