I wish the adjusting nut had a tiny bit of friction. I added a drop of weak locktite, and that solved that issue. I also wish I'd ordered the bigger one because this one gets hidden by the other bottles on my counter. BUT... all those little wishes aside, this thing grinds beautifully, and I love it. No, it isn't perfect, but it certainly does the job of grinding very well.

Took a picture of this when I was in Italy or France and was amazed by how good of a pepper shakers to it was! So happy to find it online. Works beautifully. Should've ordered bigger version.

A little hard to twist. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with arthritic hands. I am happy with it.

Does not crush very well and isn't smooth. Despite adjustment it still comes out really fine. Would not buy again.

Peugeot makes the best pepper mills period. The first one I bought in the 1970's is still going strong. The grind is variable and easy to change.

mine does not work

I received it very quickly and it work perfectly. And it's true that you have to screw it once in a while, but I can manage to loose one second every now and then to do it. I love it and I'm going to buy another one for the pink and green pepper.

Mahlwerk nicht so perfekt wie vor 20 Jahren. Diese Mühle diente als Ersatz einer alten Mühle vom gleichen Hersteller. Leider ist das Mahlwerk nicht so fein justierbar wie früher. Ebenso ärgerlich: Ständig fällt viel Mahlgut unten raus, wenn man die Mühle hinstellt... Das war früher besser!Nach einigen Wochen im Gebrauch stellt man fest, dass das Mahlgut unten aus dem Mahlwerk bröselt und man ständig den Tisch reinigen muss. Peugeotmahlwerke waren früher erstklassige Qualität, heute kann man das vergessen. Ich kaufte mir als Ersatz eine empfohlene Mühle mit Keramikmahlwerk. 20 Jahre Garantie und erstklassige Qualität. Preis sogar noch ziemlich gleich...

Besitze eine solche Pfeffermühle bereits seit vielen Jahren! Das bewährte Peugeot-Mahlwerk hat noch nichts an "Schärfe" eingebüßt, obwohl ich die Mühle nahezu täglich benutze. Ich habe diese Pfeffermühle für meine Tochter bestellt, ich denke, dass sie damit auch sehr zufrieden sein wird!
