Men's Slim-Fit Long-Sleeve Plaid Twill Shirt

OverallThis is a great midweight button down plaid twill shirt to wear three out of the four seasons. I usually wear this shirt weekly and have owned it for 6 months. It has held up so great, I actually got another in a different color. It looks nice as a button down or left open with a white undershirt. The rich colors allows you to dress up or down with it. Perfect to wear to work, and after work.FitI am 6ft, 165, with a trim build. I am a fan of Goodthreads clothing, since it is usually consistent in its sizing amongst its products. This buttondown fits great in the shoulders, chest, torso, sleeves, and through the waist. I have a hard time finding sleeves that are long enough for my arms, and these sleeves fall about 1 inch below my wrists.MaterialThe weight of this shirt is perfect for fall, winter, and spring. This has a midweight, yet feels light and breathable. The sleeves stay put when rolled up. The shirt is 100% cotton. I didn’t want to take a chance that it would shrink on me, so I always make sure to hang it up to air dry after going through a cold wash. I did not experience any shrinkage or color bleeding so far.Overall, this is my favorite shirt that I own so I can’t say enough positive things about it. I think any guy would be happy to have this.

I wasn't expecting too much from this shirt, considering it is an online purchase of clothing, and it has a low price point. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that this shirt is actually very well designed and made. The cuts and hemlines are even, the fabric is decent quality, and the stitching feels secure and solid. I have washed and dried this shirt a few times. There was a very small amount of shrinkage (expected), and it has held up very well so far. I will definitely buy this brand/fit again in other colors for my wardrobe.I am 5'10, 190 lbs (a few extra pounds, especially in the middle!), and a large fits me pretty well. I wouldn't order up a size unless you plan to roll the sleeves, get them hemmed, or have long arms - the sleeves are pretty long to begin with.

I feel like shirts that are slim fit are hit or miss - sometimes they are way too tight, sometimes they aren't slim at all and everyone once and a while they are just right....that's this shirt....just right. It feels nice and soft, its not too heavy or too thin - its right in the middle. It's a nice pattern. I am definitely ordering more of these. I am tall and skinny and always struggle finding shirts to fit me. Ive found with goodthreads - depending on the kind of shirt, sometimes the tall is way too tall. And with this shirt, they didnt offer a tall, but i loved the pattern, it had good reviews, so I gave it a try and I was not disappointed. The only thing I am disppointed in is how the rest of the shirts in my closet look/fit in comparison to this one. I think Amazon knocked it out of the park with the Goodthreads brand.

At 5'11 140lbs, the small fits me very tightly around the chest (36'') and shoulders. The cut seems slimmer than a comparable button-up from the Amazon Essentials line. I generally like close-fitting shirts, but I would think about sizing up for this one.Otherwise, everything else is great. The sleeves aren't overly baggy and the length is just right. Fits well around the waist, and the back shoulder pleats allows for more mobility without adding a ton of fabric in the lower back. The 100% cotton twill is decently soft and thick -- I would NOT want to wear this shirt on a hot day. Made in Vietnam, it's well-constructed and I don't notice any loose threads or buttons.I don't know if Amazon's product photos really show it, but the colors on these shirts are VIBRANT. Maybe the dye will bleed out after multiple washes, but right out of the bag they are almost uncomfortably bold. I kind of prefer a more "worn" or muted look, so I'm hoping several washes will tone it down a bit.The shirt works both buttoned and unbuttoned, and I think pairing with dark jeans or chinos helps to balance out the bold color. It's a decent shirt for the price and I would consider buying another. 4/5 stars.

The material on this shirt is very nice, pretty soft for twill. Not as soft as true flannel, but pretty nice. The upshot of that is that it keeps its shape and drapes better than flannel.Regarding size, it's a little wider than other Goodthreads shirts. It fits about the same as their slim fit OCBDs, but with more room around the midsection.The only complaint I have is variance in sizing, specifically the hem length - in one case, there was a difference of almost 2 inches. I ordered multiples and kept the ones that fit the same. If they can work out those issues, then they have a really nice offering on their hands. I'll likely order a few more next fall/winter.

EDIT:After wearing the shirt for a month the collar ends started to point up no matter how much I ironed itThere should be buttons for the edges of the collar or hard inserts you see in other flannel shiets. Disappointed I only got to wear this shirt for a few weeks. (old review after one week of owning) Amazingly perfect fit. Seams and buttons are all tight. Just fits perfectly, love the color, exactly as advertised. Keep up the good work boys and girls!

My husband is very picky about the fit of his shirts. This said slim fit & it is. My husband didn't have to fold it inward in the back to tuck in his pants. He loves them, they are lightweight enough to wear in the summer. He loves the fact that they have 2 front pockets. But it would be helpful if the pockets were just a little longer. b/c his phone sticks out the top & falls out if he bends over. But his cigarettes fit just great in the other pocket. lol The price is also very reasonable. Some other shirts I saw were over $20 each, but thee were priced reasonably & so I was able to buy his several of them. He was thrilled.

Hadn’t heard of the brand, but had a really good offer so gave it a go, using the wardrobe service.Fits well, decided to keep this - really like the colour and being tall needed the extra length.

Slightly thin and lightweight fabric. Well sewn. Have now bought a second shirt. Previous comments are valid but a good shirt for the Summer in England

Like the colour and the fit, the shirt is nice and cosy for upcoming winters.

Comes up large for a slip fit large but well made and warm, good item.

Really nice product, will order again.
