Sphinx's Princess (Princesses of Myth)

I have Bern searching for books like this.No violence, No sex, No demons or magic. Just a well written character swept through and adventure.This book doesn't hurt my feelings.I was invested and then the book just ends on a cliff hanger? I vote for more volumes.

These Egyptians and people greedy for power are intense. I don't understand all the crazy people. Ultra paranoid about their family and marrying their cousins is awkward.Overall this was an interesting take on Neferiti's life growing up. I knew super basic things so it's fun to have the gaps filled in.

I love this book. It does a good job of pulling you into the day to day life in ancient Egypt while following a strong and capable woman in her struggles with life and love. It is a clean book and well written.

She loves them ...... She read them first when she was 9. She is now 11 and just finished another reading of them. There is a lot out there for her age....but not a lot with quality and meaningful content. These books are both entertaining and educational...like the best of historical fiction.

I loved this book so much. Without giving too much away I would just like to say how amazed I was on how well it was written, and how it didn't focused on one period of time in the main character's life. Love it and recommend it!

My son, a 6th grader, read this book for a school report, so this is his review: Excellent book! Reading the second one, The Sphinx Queen, on my own because I liked it so much. Chose it over other choices and very glad.

Easy read and sweet story, we have been to Egypt and have read different stories, this one I enjoyed a lot.

Daughter 11 years old is studying Egyptian history at school, so I bought her this book, she loved it and it is appropriate for her age in all the matter.

I bought this book on behalf of a friend who does not have a computer. She is very pleased both with content and state of the book. She told me that the book was in excellent condition and would recommend the seller.

This is exactly the kind of novel I love to read. Egypt and Nefertiti are two of my obsessions. I even had a long argument with the guards at the museum in Berlin, which was closing early with no notice, until they grudgingly let me in to see that astonishing bust of her. It was worth the argument - pictures are great, nothing beats the real thing--truly she was The-beautiful-woman-has-come. And Esther Friesner brings her to life as a young woman wonderfully. It's fiction of course, but fiction that could just be true. It's exciting and heart-warming, and the author writes beautifully. Thank you for a lovely book.

Really enjoyed it, like many of her books.I couldnt put it down. I will definitely be reading this again once my friend returns it.
