Successfully fixed driver's mirror.
The backside (forward facing) of my driver's side mirror on my full-size SUV was hanging by wires one morning when I came out. A quick inspection showed that it was attached with some sort of double sided tape. I immediately jumped onto Amazon to see what was available. This tape had really decent reviews and seemed appropriate for my job. I placed the order, and the package arrived on schedule, two days later.I was a bit concerned with the holding power because the outdoor temp was only in the low 50s. But I didn't want to delay the repair any longer, so I proceeded.I used alcohol to clean off the two pieces that were going to be adhered to each other. After ensuring that both pieces were dry, I measured, cut, and applied the tape. Be sure to thoroughly push the tape onto the first surface before exposing the second adhesive side.Once the two sides were adhered to each other, I attempted to separate them. It didn't happen immediately, but I was able to separate. For this reason, I added a second strip of tape. (This tape wasn't quite as wide as the original tape that was on the mirror.) Following the same steps as the first piece, I applied and tested this second piece. I was comfortable that the mirror cover was securely attached again.Fast forward almost two months, and the tape is holding well. I've had the vehicle thru the automatic car wash several times. We've had temps down to 4*F. For now, seems like an inexpensive, easy fix!

Received two bad rolls but got replacements in record time
I'll start by saying I don't normally write reviews but I felt impelled to write this because the product is great but the customer service is even better. I use this tape to adhere LED's, trim and many other things to my motorcycles. And until I found this specific vendor, most of the tape I used did not stay on longer than one season. Especially in the summer heat.Needless to say, I was shocked when I received 2 rolls (on two separate orders) that I not only had a lot of difficulty removing the wrapper but they had almost no adhesion. So, instead of asking for a refund I decided to contact XFasten and let them know what was the trouble. They replied to me the very next day and they discussed the issue with their engineers. They told me the only guess they had was the tape must have been subjected to very high heat and that could have happened during transit. Regardless, they shipped me 2 rolls immediately and those rolls were perfect.I could tell the moment I removed them from the shipping package that they were going to work just fine. The wrapping didn't look heat shrunk and the roll didn't look compressed like the previous two. I was able to finish my project and I could tell the adhesion was back to normal.I will give a work or warning to those who are looking to use this product. It IS really sticky and once placed there's a good chance it will require some elbow grease to remove it. Of course, that's the reason why I love it!I hove this review helps.Dave

Easy to use
This is a heavy duty tape that I used to re-attach my bumper sill that had come loose at the sides and prevented my hatch to open. After cleaning all surfaces (takes a long time to get rid of residual previous adhesive) the tape was so easy to install to the bumper cover. It follows all curves well and does not fold or want to go in weird stiff ways. It is soft enough to go around curves. Installed the cover with the red cover intact, and then pulled them off sideways as I pressed the cover into place. The cover tape comes off smoothly without ripping. All went well :)Pardon the sweat drops on the cover ;)

Does the job
Does the job for the most part. Just make sure the surfaces are absolutely clean and you’re not expecting some crazy adhesion against a lot of pressure. Equivalent to 3M at a fraction of the cost

Think this is something I will keep on hand!
I found this easy to use and think some who gave bad reviews might not have read the directions. When you first put it on a surface, it sticks lightly, so you can move it if it's not in the right spot. Once you have everything positioned, you press down on it - it's pressure sensitive. Then give it 15 min and it's set. I used it to stick on weatherstripping because I didn't like the look of the nails that came with it, sticking the rubbery vinyl weatherstripping to both wood and metal. Time (and weather) will tell, but seems to be working. The tape does stretch if you pull on it, so something to be careful if repositioning it. I keep thinking of more ways to use this stuff!
