US PRO Cylinder Leak Detector For Petrol Engines 5256

I bought this kit to make a piston leak test. Unfortunately i could not connect it to my compress air line, is got different endI went to all the shops in my area trying to finde a replacement for this tool end or an bayonet adaptor. There is nothing to came closer to this type. Unfortunately, i couldn't use it. Even if it looks like your compressor end connection, when you'll have it in front of you only then you can check it because is got no specifications from the seller about the size. It could be a good idea to have a few different ends line in the kit...

This item does not work out of the box. The restriction orifice between the two gauges is far too big and the leak indicator gauge maxes out at about 15psi. What you do have however is most of the parts to make a working detector. If you can insert a 1.00mm restriction orifice between the two gauges and get rid of the leak percentage gauge and replace with a normal 0-100psi gauge you can make one that actually works. As a leak down tester it is rubbish, as a collection of parts to make your own it is brilliant.

Item is exactly what we need though we did have to change the airline fitting and it now doesn't fit in the case
