Great for 4-5th grade science Fair research

Excellently written, simple format but informative. My first graders loved them as we studied animal adaptations in different habitats. Could easily be enjoyed by other grades, too. Beautiful photos as well. I recommend all the habitats this series has (I bought 4)!

As a teacher that is working on a unit on animal adaptions this is a must. The pictures are stunning and visually pleasing. The text is easy to read for my 2nd graders, but still higher level thinking. I would recommend this for all!

I used this book for PLTW (Project Lead the Way) Animal Adaptation unit for first grade and it was just perfect.

A good little book for my first and second graders to learn about the special ways polar animals survive!

Great picture book for teachers to share 'on the carpet' with KS1 children about how animals are adapted for cold climates. Lovely large clear photos with three of four lines of descriptive text about each.
