I've always admired the Breton stripe shirts, but couldn't quite justify spending 75 clams and up for the Real Deal. Because I've never owned the Real Deal, I can't say how this item compares, but this is a nice shirt. Don't expect your typical long sleeve tee: this is quite a bit heavier, and it doesn't have the stretchy ribbed cuffs you get with a long sleeve tee, but it's a nice boxy fit and wears great with jeans. My new favorite shirt.
